Practically any career can be discredited if one so wishes. I've not read the whole thread but I should imagine it was started by a disgruntled Calzaghe nuthugger. Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
I find it funny how the calzaghe fan boys like to nag on hopkins, when by most "experts" hopkins is ranked miles ahead of joe on all the ATG lists..... lets face it, joe scratched out a SD over a 43 year old hopkins....
Managed to ignore his wins over Glen Johnson and William Joppy. DLH and Trinidad were both highly skilled and were still gonna cause problems at middleweight. His wins against Tarver, Winky Wright and Pavlik obviously went over your head as well.

The thing is, it wouldn't be so bad if he offered some decent rationale. I still wouldn't agree with it but I'd, at least, understand his view point. However, it's obviously a flame thread created to cause trouble. A bit sad really.
