"We reached a deal last week. The WBO title will be at stake. They offered us additional guarantees and benefits (to defend the title). Ever since the fight was signed, I have had the mindset of victory. After Pacquiao, we will see what is out there. I do not believe Pacquiao is physically capable of making it a fight at welterweight. I have the size advantage over him, and that will carry me to victory. The only thing I have to take care of is his speed. By using a good defense, we can counteract it."

good for him to say that.

At least we could use this against haters who will say he is weight drained.

absolutely nothing wrong w/ that. that's not cocky or anything like that imo. saying you have a size advantage when you do isnt the same as trashing your opponent. **** i would hope he's thinking that as opposed to the alternative.

hatton and de la hoya had the size advantage to not saying pac will win as i think it is a pick-em fight .of course the fight could end early as cotto could get cut but then thats a different reason to bleat about not really having lost a fight

I luv cotto but Pac is a freak of nature, he'll be too quiick, too busy AND too powerful. I see a Pac win via stopage.

He seems to understand what's needed of him. He's right in that he needs a very solid defence to stop Pacquiao popping in and out and flurrying all night. A good defence blocks shots, fast or slow; if he has that he can start to impose himself.

Good.Make a good. Lets see if Cotto can capitalize on his size advantage unlike Pacs last three opponent.
