Ask him, my only concern is who won the H2H that would decide the FOT80s between Leonard & Hagler.... the smaller, more talented Leonard won 7-5 on my card & got the call on 2 official cards so thats that, end of. Sugar Ray Leonard = Best fighter of the 80s. :good
hagler won on my card so thats the start of an endless thread ,about an obvious crap decision and i am not getting into this as it will come up again soon anyway:yep
I'm asking you. If you can't bring youself to answer it I can't see why you put so much faith in him. You say with unswerving ferver that " Sugar Ray Leonard = Best fighter of the 80s" Anyone who says he has an eye injury and then summarily fights over again, one after the other and "forgets" to take precaution in order to protect against it, obviously never had an injury at all. Which means I was right all along that the only reason this fight was put off for 5 years was he could never handle him in the first place and had to rely on the opposition to soften him up. Hence you hear Leonard suddenly come out after the Mugabi fight and proclaim "I want him, I can beat him" and this wasnt the first time he did this. It was actually the second time. The first time was 3 years earlier in the Howard fight. I dont blame you for not wanting to discuss it. It's embarrassing. Does the best fighter of the 80s have to resort to such measures because he lacks confidence in his OWN abilities to handle another man on his own? I've never seen another case where this was true. Leonard is a fraud! His legend is a myth and there's no truth behind t.
Robbi just tell us where you get them from. I promise not to use them if that's what's bothering you. I'm just curious to know how you found them
It pains me to say it as I hate his arrogance, but it was Leonard: 20 Jeff Fenech 19 Myung Woo Yuh 18 Jung Koo Chang 17 Mike McCallum 16 Evander Holyfield 15 Pernell Whitaker 14 Jeff Chandler 13 Khoasio Galaxy 12 Salvador Sanchez 11 Azumah Nelson 10 Roberto Duran 9 Aaron Pryor 8 Eusebio Pedroza 7 Julio Cesar Chavez 6 Larry Holmes 5 Michael Spinks 4 Tommy Hearns 3 Mike Tyson 2 Marvin Hagler 1 Ray Leonard
I gave it to Leonard based on him winning the first 5 rounds. This was partly Hagler's own fault. stalking Leonard instead of charging him and not letting the ring rusty Sugar Ray get into his rhythm.
Sugar Ray Leonard - 2 WBA Titles, 4 WBC Titles = 6 titles in 5 weights {not including the the WBC welterweight title he took in 1979 from Benitez} Wins over all time greats like Duran, Hearns and Hagler, record against these greats is W4 L1 D1. I believe Sugar Ray Leonard is the greatest Pd 4 Pd fighter of all time {and before everyone starts saying i'm nuthugging, I like all the 4 kings equally and my opinion is based on talent, skill and achievement and is not biased }
