If u buy a 12pk of Tecate beer, you get a $25 rebate towards the ppv. That and the fact that they have spent an enormous amount of money trying to stack the undercard is proof that Floyd vs Marquez alone wasnt enough to sell the ppv.

Now as a diehard fight fan, i'm glad that they have decided to stack the undercard for this fight, but facts are facts. The main event needed all the help it could in order to sell the fight. Floyd/Oscar broke the all time ppv record with one of the shittest undercards EVER.

This is nothing new. Golden Boy has been doing this regularly for their big PPV events for a while now.

I read this yesterday as well. I'm just trying to point out the lengths they are going to in order to sell this fight. I've never seen something like this for a major ppv fight.

I understand, but for the so-called "cash cow" of boxing, why go to these lengths to try and sell a fight? Its good for the fans, but this will be a big eye opener for Floyd.

Pillow-biter, nobody is bitching. I said that its good for us fans. The point im trying to make is, the rumors of this fight not selling originally must've been true.

They did that for DLH/Pacquiao and this isn't the first time they do it. Did you ever order a PPV before?, daddy finally give you money to order one?

What do you mean an eye opener for Floyd? He gave up a portion of his purse to get the awesome undercard. And you're trying to use it as a gotcha moment?

Not at all. I hope all ppv's could sell millions. I'm just sick and tired of all the scandals, politics, corruption, and lies in the sport. It's getting to the point where its becoming hard to even consider this a real competitive sport. Its come to the point where opponents are only interested in looking for advantages in fights in order to beat thier opponents with all these demands and stipulations, or else the fight wont happen.

Rumors are true based on what?, the beer thing?, GoldenBoy has been doing it for many fights. They did it for Pac/DLH, does that mean that fight wasn't selling good? :nut, is your head in your ass?

First they said Mayweather is broke, which he pissed on by spending his own personal money to improve the undercard. Now the beer thing is good proof this PPV is failing when GoldenBoy has always done it.

As someone said in this thread, welcome to yesterday and I'm very happy to know daddy finally gave you money to buy a PPV. Go for UFC on the same night please and stay there. I hear if you buy anal **** you get % off UFC PPVs.

No ****. I'm starting to question if he's even a boxing fan. This card is a boxing lovers dream and he's crying about it.:-(
