Mayweather spent some of his money on trying to improve the undercard because its an investment for him. The more ppv buys, the more revenue he recieves when all is said and done. U think he just did it out of the kindness of his own heart? lol.

It has more to do than just offering rebates for buying the beer. Its the postponement due to his so-called "rib injury" that he refuses to even talk about. Its the fact that they moved it to the wknd of the 19th which happens to be a big mexican holiday. Its the fact that they had to stack the undercard. U have 2 eyes I hope. Im sure u can see why all this is taking place.

What's your issue?, how is this thread related to corruption?

You have already been told that this isn't the first time something like this has been done, might want to avoid being stubborn and crawl out of your thread.

If you're the "cash cow" you don't have to advertise your events, makes sense. Why did Tyson, Holyfield, DLH, Ali, Leonard and others advertise theirs?, they must have all been extremely desperate too. Very smart thinking, do you know what business means?

Why are you listening to rumors man??

Tickets at the gate can go to hell...PPV sales will tell the tale.

No, he's more than likely NOT a boxing fan, he seems like your average *******.

    Knows no boxing. Loves Pacquiao.

Where did I say he's spending money from kindness?, then again when I see an idiot come to the thread claiming this beer thing is desperation when it happened before it's hard to take you serious and I don't understand why you're being stubborn either.

Mayweather obviously did it to advertise his card over the UFC, for someone who's in debt and broke according to rumors he WON'T do that, plain and simple. Business is all about taking risks but calculated ones, if he wasn't sure he was making enough to make up for it or paying good enough to secure a better night over UFC he wasn't going to do so when rumors suggest he's broke.

I have two eyes, it's you I'm worried about. You didn't have two eyes to realise this isn't the first time this has been done and you're still playing stubborn. One thing I admit as a nightmare to deal with is discussing with children who play stubborn for the hell of it.

You have started a thread to prove Mayweather isn't a cash cow because of the beer thing. More than one member came in and told you this isn't the first time GoldenBoy does it and the most recent major one was DLH/Pacquiao, right?, why the **** are you still arguing?, shut the **** up and hope the embarrassing thread dies off.

I can care less if it does 10,000 buys, or 10,000,000 buys. I just wanna see Pac vs Floyd. That's the fight that everyone wants to see.

TS's like this show just how much you either don't care about knowing the business side of boxing, or how much you don't care about Floyd lol... When people who are involved with match making, they will do anything to get the fight to sell. This does not mean the fight is not selling. Ticket sales might be slow, but people are saving up for Labor Day weekend as well as this fight. The fight might sell out late, but I expect the ppv's to be good. Try googling info about what exactly GBP's has done in the past, and you will see that this is not the first time a deal like this was struck for the fans... Sad!

Could it be that they realize these are the type of undercards people want to see. Who really cares about PPV numbers anyway I just want to see two ATG go at it.

    Pac v Floyd ain't happening.

If it were.....Manny would be fighting Shane instead, because of his obvious similarities with Floyd.

Shane is far better preparation than Cotto.

The transition from Cotto to Floyd is too much to overcome.
