pavlik--ruler of the middlweight division

this fight between pw and pavlik will eventually happen. when it does all you pw fans will watch in horror when pw buckles after taking a legit full fledged middlweight punch. he has never taken one and its silly for any of you to think automatically that he can. :-( until i see him take a good mw shot from someone im calling pavlik wins this bout within 6 rounds.:good

 

Lol at this guy. Pavlik used this same excuse against Mora. Staph is so easily prevented if you can clean your training conditions and use some basic hygiene. He doesn't want to fight Paul Williams plain and simple. Paul's got a date on Oct. 3 and once he gets that fight, team Pavlik better not try to price him out again!

Pavlik might have ****ed up his only opportunity against a big name opponent below 168. If this fight doesn't happen he might as well move up to 168 where there's worthy competition

 

On August 5th Pavlik had a minor surgery on the infected knuckle. The surgery was to remove scar tissue, dead tissue, infected tissue, and other impediments to healing. This type of surgery is called debridement, and is a fairly common way to deal with wounds that won't heal.

On August 11th he returned to the doctor to have the stitches removed. At that time the doctor said the knuckle looked good. Please note that only six days passed, and only 4 of them were week days. Certainly no time there for 3 missed appointments, and the doctor did say the knuckle looked good.

The following Monday, August 17th, Pavlik complained to Jack Leow that the knuckle was bothering him while running. Loew asked KP to remove the bandage so they could have a look. The knuckle looked bad, and prompted a return to the doctor. Please note the number of days again; 5 days, and only 3 were week days. Again, no time for 3 missed appointments.

Pavlik is currently receiving intervenous antibiotics twice a day for a scheduled 2 weeks. This is the typical treatment for a persistant and recurring staph infection. He is reportedly in good spirits, and ready to return to training the minute he gets medical clearance.

 

Pavlik ASKED for Williams, rejecting the 4 HBO-approved fights he was offered. When negotiations went out in the cold, he contacted Dunkin and told him to concede to some of Goosen's demands to "just make the fight happen". He signed the contract to fight.

No and that has been my problem with this fight from day one. Let PW fight Dzindwhatever a 6 foot tall Jmw with a pole jab and see how he does. From HBO's perspective how would they spend all this money on this fight and there is, at this point a high probabilty imo that PW can't take a hard middleweight punch. Could Paul Even take a right hand from Giovanni Lorenzo?? who comes in to fights weighing close to 180.

 

They also need to see this to understand more.

Infection are nothing to mess with. I stepped on something at the beach, which made only a small puncture. A week later, I was in the hopital for 6 days with blood infection. They said 48 hrs more, & no more JETSKI!
