Dean Powell not a fan of boxing forums

I was just about to make a post earlier explaining how Powell is as guilty as anybody for the so called demise of boxing for his gross mismatches! :good

 

Suprise, suprise. Not exactly helpng himself by ripping on the fans either, is he?:-( Obviously the easiest way to escape the questioning over how poor matchmaking is effecting boxing is by blaming boxing's 'demise' on another faction of people. As always, the fans are the easiest target:-(.

 

Who matched Khan with Prescott...????? Any ideas.....:think

 

I think Khans (now ex) trainer kopped the blame for that one!!!

 

Didn't he just...they were concentrating to much on bodyfat % in that fight....bad matchmaking that the Cuban trainer had nothing to do with...When Khan fought Kotelnik I was shouting at the TV for DP to close his mouth and let Roach do all the talking... one voice and two ears is sufficient in any corner at any level...:yep

 

I think (just for the irony) we should start up a 'Dean Powell Appreciation Thread' and make sure he sees it:yep.

To be honest I don't have a beef with the fella- if he wants to moan about something he doesn't use then he is no different to any other middle-aged man, really.

For the record, Ezekiel, there's a bit of talk on here that you might actually be Kell Brook. Is it you or do you just coincidentally have the same name?:think:good

 

Dean Powell is apparently a very nice fella. Spoke to him a couple of times and he seems nice. Makes **** matches though. Might not be his fault.

 

Dean Powell is simply Frank Warren's yes man. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it's HE that doesn't know what he's talking about

 

to be honest dean has got the most difficult job in boxing,trying to keep all the boxers happy and moaning ****s like me happy,if you were to try his job for a month you'd be up the wall.
