That still doesnt mean he has to wait for all of this to clear up...Again its not their fault that the whole situaition is happening...IMO the will probably air his fight if he gets a vaulable opponent...I could be wrong though so I guess we'll have to sit back and see whats going.

I agree...Also it sends a **** up message to the fighter's fight he missed...Asking for that will only make things bad for Goosen...I'm pretty sure that Williams or Ward will take that the wrong way...Why cant their own promoter cant even come to their fight and he promotes them.

Look how long it took Williams to get the fight with Winky. Suddenly 6 weeks is 'killer'? The conflict in dates is pretty legit though.

quick edit. Not so much in terms of 'which' fight he attends, but he is diluting market unless the fights are on at different times.

I look at it like this Boo, Goosen is probably looking at the ongoing injuries with Pavlik...Goosen probably doesnt want to risk waiting for the alternate date for Pavlik to pull out yet again...Again, we dont know what the future may hold, so why take a chance on a risky situation when they're not 100% sure?

Some articles have said that Pavlik has missed some of his appointments (we dont know how accurate that is but it has to be taken into consideration) so with that little bit of info...Goosen want to assure his fighter gets what best for him at the time...I'm almost certain that once Kelly gets this situation under control Goosen will be all ears about the match up...but until then...how can anybody blame Goosen for going on with his business?

It may have took a long time but it was ask to be postponed either...The reason why I say I understand why Goosen wants to go on with things given that staph can go away and comeback...IMO Goosen is probably wanting Pavlik to get clearance from a doctor before he makes his decision (just my opinion) Lets say that Goosen does want to wait out for the date and all of a sudden Kelly's injury reoccur again...How do you think that will make Goosen feel if he was to wait for Pavlik and Williams is left without an opponent and he for some strange reason misses Ward's fight? I think they will be highly pissed off...So thats why I understand on why Goosen is willing to go on with his original date.

I read ya loud and clear, and I somewhat agree. It's just frustrating because the fight is very valuable to both guys. It's a substantial payday, and it's huge in terms of either man's over all standing. The only thing that could really damage either guy would be a complete blow out.

We do fight partys all the time. My sister and her husband are both awesome cooks. We eat a big ole meal and have tons of snacks, et. And then come fight time, keep yo trap shut unless you're talking about scoring rounds, or a specific aspect of what one fighter is doing or not doing!
