if paulie shows up mentally it should be a good fight...hes quicker, has the reach and height advantage, better foot work, chin, and stamina.....

diaz has a good attitude and has heart, but i was never really impressed with him as a boxer...I think this is a underrated fight in terms of quality for the fans....

Any fight with Juan Diaz will be entertaining. Malignaggi is probably done as a top fighter and he'll need both hands to keep Diaz off him. I can definitely see a stoppage.

But why is Diaz moving up? It's obvious he can easily make 135.

Is he no longer focused or dedicated or simply trying to land a big fight since everyone in the money mix is around welter?

i think because diaz is ranked number 1 contender at LW and marquez is the champ, he wont land a re-match anytime soon....so he is heading north.....i think its a mistake at his age...

**** do you mean Hatton isnt known to be a big puncher?! :huh

Hatton was considered to be a pretty big puncher and body killer. Not a monster puncher or some one punch KO finisher, but at least a much better than average puncher.

Paulie looks ripped, I'm glad he trained so hard since he seemed down about the fight. I hope were gonna see the same Paulie who shut out Ndou, GO PAULIE!

Could be. But with Marquez having a mega fight upcoming and being probably a welter catchweight. What in all likelihood is the chances of JMM coming back to lightweight at 36 win or lose. All the big money for Marquez is in the higher weights. Diaz can still reclaim all the lightweight gold and be king for a few years. There's really no threats for him now at lightweight, possible Valero fight. Plenty of time to polish his skills then later make a jump. Definitely seems a mistake especially with the wars he's already had at such a young age.

when you are in the GBP corporation...is it your duty to stand behind ALL your fighters?

Its like "oooh, there's Oscar, I better buy this fight."

    thanks! :good

it seems many are picking juan diaz on this one. i would go the opposite way and say that malignaggi would take this one via decision.

Hatton, Ngoudjo, N'Dou arent exactly light fisted bitches either. Not KO monsters, but they got some pop.

    Especially Hatton.

I dont know, i think hes testing the waters to go up eventually to 140....if he loses, no harm done, he can say it wasnt my natural weight and go back down to 135....
