No. DM never met a punch he could avoid. Roy woulda pot shotted the **** outta him. And for the record, DM avoided Roy just as much as Roy avoided him. And other than Hill, DM feasted on all of Roy's leftovers.. until finally one of Roy's leftovers(Gonzalez) beat him.

Would of been Roy's career defining fight. Even head of Toney. Unfortunately for all us fight fans, it never took place. I would back RJJ to nick a points win, but who knows?

    Popular opinion= Rico's view apparently.

Rico spacafora: " Glass Jaw! Glass Jaw!"

Give it a rest and look at the whole picture.

    R Jones comfortable win.

Career defining fight ?Outside the die hards no one I mean no one knew who he was at the time let alone pronounce his last name ..

Toney was in his prime and the best fighter p4p and a huge favorite ..That was his career defining fight imo ..No one thought Jones was gonna win even clown Toney the way he did .

Rico is obsessed with Jones, he's so insecure that he has to write negative **** about Jones in every dam Jones thread.

Seriously why you hate the man so much?

No, DM would NOT have beaten Prime 175 Jones. Too fast, strong, and elusive.

And a ****ing ugly one at that

As for the fight....it's ridiculous to think DM could beat Jones, DM was a slow plodder. Jones would have embarrassed the **** out of him prime for prime. If Jones turned up annoyed then he'd have KO'd the bum in the 1st, and I'm serious on that. DM was just WBO garbage.

People only debate this because Roy was so damn good in his prime that others want to take him down a notch, which is quite pathetic. Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows that Roy would have handled Darius quite easily.

I can only take your word for it that Toney was favourite in the fight with RJJ. But, although RJJ moved up in weight to fight Toney and completely outclass him, there is still the whole "oh, but Toney was weight drained" claim. With DM, Jones is fighting a naturally bigger man and lineal champ. Toney was a title holder at 168. DM was THE champ at one of boxing's most prestigious weightclasses. Maybe most people would disagree with me, but I genuinely think that RJJ beating DM is a better victory than his win over Toney.
