Well i understand what he saying and agree..i'm not a fan of personal attacks on people who risk there lives in the ring for our entertainment...don't get me wrong i've had my odd go at certain fighters but i see some posts and it gets nasty. In saying that fighters should be stronger then to let some guy off internet affect his pride and mental state.

 

YOUR WELCOME, i agree with almost everything you said, however i do believe however you are it is difficult not to be affected by criticism. Yes some fighters might draw strength from it and work harder but it still hurts and just imagine how someone like Audley or Khan would feel (or has felt) after some of the stuff written about them on boxing forums.

As for his views on internet boxing forums, well he has a point when you look at the state of the general.

I did security on the Khan v Earl fight and i must say when you held the door open to him he never even acknowledged you, he did this with myself and several other people from what i saw, also he was a complete and utter cockend in general.

Very arrogant i thought.

 

I just think he is a stooge.

 

Boxing isnt affected by mismatches. Ricky Hatton made a career out of mismatches. Its affect by lack of coverage on terrestrial channels. Frank switched to PPV and Sky to generate more money. What he failed to realise is thats false economy. Unless you put a propoganda marketing machine behind fighters, whereby theres a liklyhood they will come unstuck its doomed for failure. Boxing needs exposure on national TV not PPV and bull**** paid for fights on SKY.

 

No he doesnt. He clearly doesnt understand the concept of an internet forum and the ability by anyone to air any view they like. If he's having a conversation with someone and they say something he doesnt like his options are easy either stand there and argue with him or walk away. Internet forums are no diffrent. They certainly DO NOT have the power to curtail or inhibit ANY fighters career. Thats just absolute bull****.

Those personally insulting him on this and the other forums thread need to have a good look at themselves. Its not fair and its not on. If you don't like his matchmaking then thats above board, If you don't like the advice he gives in the corner then thats up to you- but calling him a wanker etc is a poor reflection on YOU. Pretty suprised by this from the regulars if i'm honest.
