Manny Pacquiao deserves better fans than the likes of you Snell. I have issues even trying to read your sentences. You make little sense. I don't post disrespectful bull**** because I am a fan of the sport, not just of one fighter. That is the main difference between you and I. He was pre-primed. He still got knocked out. Erik Morales was past his prime. He got knocked out. I have no issue with talking about it, but mocking a fighter for getting knocked out despite giving it his best efforts? Who the **** do you think you are. Disgusting cretin. In reality, Manny Pacquiao got the best of Erik Morales in a very entertaining trilogy. However, this thread is discussing the events of the first fight, a fight in which Erik Morales won fair and square. A great performance, and he truly put the fans first as evidenced by his antics in the 12th round of a grueling war against one of the best fighters in the world at the time. Special. Then we have you trying to mock him for getting stopped. I can't wait until Manny Pacquao retires gracefully so I don't have to be subjected to your uneducated ramblings again.
kush, you are cool... we had disagreements before but since i like your boy jmm against pbf, i dont want to make war with you. save your energy and dont attack me, you'll need it from the floydettes
Yawn. Manny Pacquiao settled the score, but in this fight, he came up short. He rebounded as all great fighters do. Take the defeat gracefully, thank you.
So answer me this, why did Morales camp FORCE Pac to wear winning gloves...if it didnt matter? Just answer me that.
You think every time Manny Pacquiao loses or has a competitive fight there is some kind of conspiracy against your fighter. It's pathetic. His socks where absolutely fine against Juan Manuel Marquez, it was the right hands that were causing him the most discomfort. Likewise, he didn't lose to Morales because of the gloves he was wearing, it was the will and desire of the man in front of him. Take the defeat gracefully. :good Thanks.
Ive never used the socks excuse so dont give me that. So we're allowed to use excuses for Morales in teh 2nd & 3rd fight...yeh Morales was past prime, even the most hardcore Pac fans acknowledge that. Yet we cant acknowledge contributing factors as to why Pac may have lost, ie pre-prime, jumping in weight, headbutt & gloves. You still havent answered the question. WHY, WHY and this was a big controversy even BEFORE the fight, was Pacquio forced to wear winning gloves if the gloves wasnt a factor? ANSWER ME THAT AND STOP DODGING THE QUESTION!
the problem with you is that your dick is like a compass... it always pinpoints the pacfans.. look at the thread starter. I bet you know him and where this thread is going . but you are just dumb blindfolded that you wont even try to investigate whats going on and as always you jump ahead and bad mouth the pac fans. if you only stop the double standard, then you wont encounter a fan like me. dont pretend your hands are clean, because i know your history here you cretin. :deal
There is no question that Morales won but you cannot discount that the cut due headbutt bothered him shutting one of his eyes. If affected his performance due to profuse blood loss. In an ideal situation, Pac would have won it despite wearing Winning gloves that were imposed on him. This is not to make excuses but let's be objective about it.
I don't have any issues with Pacquiao fans. They are great fans. It's the *******s I have an issue with. They aren't fans of the sport. I want to make it clear, there is a clear distinction between a Pacquiao fan (DINAMITA) and a ******* (Snell). Two completely different equations. This thread was just appreciating the artistry. It's the *******s, not the Pacquiao fans, that had to come in and change the whole agenda. I'm not about to get into the discussion with Dangerousity. Manny Pacquiao entered the ring, and Freddie Roach, the master, must have thought his man could have won the fight irrespective of the gloves used. Nobody was forced to do anything - if Pacquiao and Roach thought there was something terribly wrong with the circumstances they should never have taken the fight. What transpired in the ring is all that matters, and it was fantatic competitive equation that ended with one of the most memorable rounds in recent history. Snell. You're a dirty turd.
You will notice that I earlier made reference to the cut and indeed acknowledge that it no doubt affected Manny Pacquiao's performance. I have no issues with being objective. This talk of the gloves however, Manny Pacquiao should never have entered the ring if he felt he was getting dealt a bad hand.
Did morales beat the prime Pac though? People would just pull out that ready made excuse of the second fight that EM was past prime already, so it cut both ways as well. Was Pac prime when EM beat him? Because all indications is that he is not unless a pachater like you have a different definiton of a prime. I will guess : Any fighter that gets KOed by Pac is past his prime, and Pac will always be prime when he losses.
Its not like Pac was even asked about it, it was just put in contract and there was no going back. The extreme would have been to cancel the fight over it... If were going by that logic, are we to say that Morales & his coach must have thought morales was fit and prime enough to beat Pac 2nd & 3rd time round, therefore no excuses can be used, Pac beat them fair and square. Yet I'll be willing to bet you would be one of the first to use the "past prime" excuse. It goes both ways. Anyways, Morales is one of my favourite fighters ever, and that win is one of the best wins of this decade...stating that Pac wasnt under the best circumstances which helped Morales chances in winning the fight isnt a crime you know.
He does not hold the ACES back then like he is now. Morales was the bigger fish, and those were Morales' camps requirements. Morales was also the Arum flavor of the year at that time, while Pac is the fast rising boxing hype, although not reaching the superstar status he has now.
