The podcast of the radio show that Hopkins and RJJ recently had a slagging match on, the names Hopkins stated himself that they were in negotiations with were:

- Chad Dawson - based on the upcoming result of his Glen Johnson fight.

- Tomasz Adamek - Cruiserweight fight so Hopkins needs to put on a good 20 or so pounds.

- Paul Williams - the source to the podcast is pretty high up on the forum so you should be able to find it somewhere. But hopkins did say straight up from the start of the interview that Paul Williams was in his sights.

Regardless of whether or not its suggested by Schaefer, Hopkins is self managed and promoted, so Schaefers opinion or suggestions matter as much as mine or yours.

 

Schaefer was quoted as suggesting this fight long before that interview. There will always be avenues to various negotiations. It's clear this fight is not happening, little purpose debating a moot point.

Yeah I was about to say I'm 5'10 and a skinny 154... But then again I'm not a pro athlete... Still doubt he walks around at 150 though

why the **** would williams go all the way the **** up to 174 to fight bhop? paul would have to put on a bunch of un-necessary weight

exactly... he honestly probably couldnt weight above 174 pounds... i mean to be real he walks around 154-160... why in the **** would he add 17 un-natural pounds? atleast at 168 or whatever Peterson wanted the fight at paul puts on a little without losing too much and bhop comes down a little with out losing much...

lets be fair here i know paul is getting to the point where he is going to just be hated upon just like other guys but jeez
