do you see my point though? like i've never questioned my love for the sport but after witnessing the big picture of tonights events i sat down and asked my self why i watch the sport.. i mean even if the guy i dislike wins.... he earned it... and thats a part of the sport.....

if you take away the reality of the "SPORT" what we are watching is not a sport anymore

Diaz lost. Paulie outboxed him with his jab. If Diaz knew to cut off the ring by using his right hook more, I think the outcome would have been justified.

What's the point of asking for a smaller ring if your fighter just follows his oppenent in circles.

Guerrero vs Klassen was my main event tonight.

Well, Lewis was kinda known for jabbing and running so he should like Paulie's style, Kellerman is another midget that probably identifies with Paulie. Light hands and loafers... :nut

You're one of the very very few who scored the fight for Diaz. A 7-5 Diaz score MIGHT have been justifiable if all you look at is who landed the hardest punches of the round, but that's not how boxing is supposed to be scored. Once you account for defense, ring generalship, etc., that fight really should have been scored no worse than a draw.

The fact that less than 10% of people on here think Diaz won that fight means it was pretty damn much a robbery.

Texas seems to be taking the place of Germany in terms of the corupt boxing capital of the world. You could just see it that Max wanted to say more about it, but was like unable to. Paulie won that fight, but even if you give it to Diaz 118-110 is almost a crime, that judge didnt even need to watch the fight, he could have mailed in his cards from the bahamas.

Everyone should be outraged, no one in thier right minds could have thought that Diaz was up by that many points, hell he didnt even think so

"I thought I needed the last round, and I got sloppy, I was reaching with my shots and falling in"

thats my whole point....in other sports that is illegal and punishable by a jail sentence

why should we as the fans accept it? unless you are okay with pre-determined results

Judges have been judging fights from the same position that these judges were in tonight. They are trained to judges fights. Besides, 1000's of fights have been called the right way, wtf if wrong with these judges

I agree. I guess what I'm saying is if you have bad judges to begin with, which trying to be unbiased, Texas has been known for lately, the fact that they are completely out of position to accurately judge the fight, in my opinion, could lead to outrageous scores, like tonight.

At first I thought, "Great, another ****ing robbery". Then when Malinaggi said "**** boxing", I thought "Please not the boxing is dead card". But when he went on to say how his career is over and how he's been unfairly demoted to gatekeeper status just so GBP can sell their fighter and how he used to love the sport I thought "Damn, they are ****ing with this man's love and his livelihood"

With all the cherrypicking, corruption, and other unfair advantages that keep occuring in boxing I can see on how it seems all so "scripted" at times.

You keep making the points for Diaz. Diaz's defense was way better. He blocked or Paulie missed 300 more punches.

    exactly... thats what i'm saying

i mean i already knew he was going to lose but a bit of hope inside of me thought maybe they would do him right... but they obviously didnt

i mean i have witnessed fights where i thought one guy one but he lose... like clottey vs cotto or funeka vs campbell... those are just some recent fights that come to my mind... but those fights could have went both ways

this fight was way more clear and the actual financial situation that they were trying to take care of was so obvious that its sad

the more i think about it the more in general i dislike the sport i have slowly become very fond of...

i mean if they fights are determined before they happen why should i watch?
