It's not even the biggest "robbery" at the f*cking site. I wonder where all these outraged people were the night they f*cked over Barrios against Juarez. He was REALLY boxing the crap out of him, not just flicking a jab most the night like Paulie was, the ref starts taking points away for nonsense, destroys his rhythm, and miraculously Juarez cuts his mouth and they stop it.

THAT was a robbery, and no one gave a rat's ass.

Heavy hooks? When was that on the inside. How many jabs to the face did Diaz take.

So one hook equals 15 jabs in ur book?

What is it with some of you boxing fans?

"He didn't land hard punches or hurt Diaz so he couldn't have won!"

People that can't punch hard aren't allowed to box anymore? Makes me ****ing sick.

Paulie won the fight hands down.

    I got your intent.

What was missing was your lack of knowledge re Calzaghe's career.

It appears you started watching around Hopkins or maybe Lacy, but you posted that he

"...probably never landed any meaningful power punches his entire career."

When he got his shot at the SMW title, he was 22-0-0 with 21 stoppages.

10 of those 21 stoppages came in the first round and 6 more were in the second round.

To put it another way, Mike Tyson needed 58 rounds to dispose of his first 22 opponents. Joe only needed 54.

He developed hand problems later, and changed his style.

Re: tonight's fight, Paulie won it 9-3 on my card, hence i see it as a robbery.

I agree mate 100%, I could think of Lennox vs Evander Holyfied I, Casamayor vs Cruz, as being 10x as worse, and the list goes on this was anything but a robbery.

14 more hits and 43 less power punches while not being the aggressor just doesn't add up to 117-111 for Paulie.

HUH?? Throwing and missing doesn't count for most people. 14 more hits in 12 rounds. That sure was ridiculously in favor of paulie....

You got it wrong man. At least in my point of view. WhaT i'm complaining about is not a robery. Its the scorecards. Malignaggi said the truth. No matter who you think won the fight.

So what we essentially have tonight is a version of the Dawson - Johnson cards, with the principle difference being that because Paulie ran his mouth before the fight, everyone was primed and ready to be outraged.

I give Paulie credit for his foresight though. If it gets Texas judges investigated it was all worth it.
