juan's a good kid, but pac is on another level and would eat him like a snack.

on a side note, it's funny how opinions change. i remember back in 2007 how you'd get laughed out of this forum for suggesting pac could beat diaz, and get labeled a "blind nuthugger" by the "clique" of "knowledgable elite boxing analysts". Dudes who liked to pat each others backs and rubbish/suppress opinions at odds with their skewed agenda driven bull.

 

Like floyd jr said after the fight. Floyd Sr. gave a Hatton a gameplan, he didn't execute the gameplan, and he lost. Had he followed the gameplan, I don't think it would have turned out the same way.

 

Barrera was FAR from shot the first time Manny beat him. MAB was HEAVILY favored in that fight. Morales was past it, but wasnt shot until after Manny was threw with him. DLH was shot, but still heavily favored to win. Hatton was past his prime, but not shot. Can Manny get ANY credit?

 

Wouldnt have mattered what game-plan Hatton used. Ricky has been a one way fighter his entire career. What the hell could he have done differently, outbox Manny?

Manny would beat Hatton 100 times outta 100.

If you have ever read any of my posts concerning this topic I ALWAYS give him credit....for not ducking fighters, but for having good timing with his opponents that he faces. Just like Cotto, he's not ducking him, but Cotto is all there mentally after the Margarito loss and the fight will end in the middle of the fight with Pacquiao's hand being raised again, but whatever tonight isn't about them it's about Paulie and Diaz and that the **** scoring.

This is true. When the possibility of a fight happening between Pac-DLH/Hatton, Pac was deemed reaching too far, who would've thought it would result to like it did!?

 

How about Cotto destroying Pac for the Marquez fight?

 

When there was initial speculation on De La Hoya fighting Pacquaio (2 years before the fight actually took place) there were alot of people myself included who thought De La Hoya would beat him. In between the time it was first mentioned as a possibility and when it took place, De La Hoya lost to Mayweather and looked like he was 50 against Forbes. Not to mention, he was fighting Manny at a weight class he hadn't fought at in 7 years! :deal

 

Remember when everyone was saying Pac was avoiding J.Diaz. He wouldnt get much credit for defeating this hype job.
