I think he's got a bright future, and i see him fighting for a world title one day. him and darren barker would be a great fight!
I would like to see that. Hopefully Geale goes international. He may make the mistake of fighting Australian fighters and becoming a bit protected. Fighting stiffs won't make him much money though, because unlike Mundine Geale doesn't have support from mainstream sports fans. And he can only generate boxing fans if you get what im saying. I have gone through a few six packs. Over and out.
Yeah why doesn't that surprise me :-(.....I think you are a pom at heart I guess your cheering for the pmos in the circket as well :-(
No i support who i like, not because i was born in the same country as someone. We are all human beings. If blokes like Lleyton Hewitt and Shane Warne weren't Australian we would ****ing hate their guts but because they are Australian we blindly support them no matter what ? Back to a Geale-Barker matchup. My honest opinion is that Barker would beat Geale. If you had seen Barker fight you would agree that he is equally as good as Geale. As i have said previously i'm not sold on Geale at world class level.
Yes I have seen Barker fight a few years back against one of our guys......he looks good and is IMO same level as Geale....the fights a 50/50 and may lean to the home advantage to tip the win......but I will still support Geale you aussie hater
Nothing specific but... The DSS radio show interviewed Geale after the Mundine bout and they asked him if there was a rematch clause in their fight contract - he understood there was a re-match clause. In any case the IBO have put the Feb 27th deadline in place for a mandatory. Seems like the best way forward for both camps would be to get the mandatory done while the public are still interested - the RJJ invasion is going to put pay to anything else boxing for some time.
