Look i'm a Juan Diaz fan but he clearly and i mean clearly lost that fight. I dare anybody and i mean anybody to give me round by rounds if whoever thought Diaz won the fight.

i thought it was brilliant display of a boxing clinic by malignaggi....it was like watching a artist paint....he schooled diaz badly it might be close on the cards but in reality that fight was not even close, paulie landed more and even out threw diaz by like 200 punches....it was lopsided

i rather pay 40 dollars to see diaz vs khan for example, than malignaggi trying to outpoint his opponents

Go watch the UFC, Boxing is a sport that rewards aspects other than violence.

I picked Diaz to win but I believe PM won by a close decision. Judges, like the one that scored it 118-110 for Diaz should be drummed out of boxing for boxing's sake. Only my opinion though.

thats true, but that doesnt mean we have to watch, my point is that maybe this decision is better for boxing fans in the future, diaz fighting on the undercard of a big ppv event is much more appealing than boring ass malignaggi

I would not watch boxing if it was just brawlers knocking each other out.

My love of boxing is for the defensive side and the skill of being able to work someone over for 12 rounds hitting and not being hit to take the desicion.

I completely agree with ghostly badge. I would rather see fights like Kessler-Calzaghe, RJJ-Toney, Dawson-Adamek, Hopkins-Pavlik and other displays of skill at a high level than some tear-up. I know that many like (maybe prefer) tear-ups though.

It is great when you can get both - like some Ali fights, Vitaly, Tyson etc. Highly skilled and dangerous.

In football I also prefer the types like highly skilled Zidane, Laudrup, Messi, Maradona rather than more physical players.
