And honestly, I'm sorry - you're a shitty excuse for a boxing fan if you don't.

Bring on the Linares superfight by late 2010. :happy

Linares won't dare get in the ring with him. Rather see Guerrero vs Soto.

You love him but if he fights Linares he'll probably leave the ring on a stretcher.

He looked pretty guff last night and if Klassen started quicker he would've won pretty easy.

I definitely think Linares will win, but I'll be pulling for the Ghost. How can you not? The guy is a class act, an overachiever, and all heart. The "quitter" nonsense is bull**** - especially given some of the actual contemporary quit-jobs that we've seen.

I like his story and his work ethic, but like a bunch of people were saying last night, he's essentially food for Gamboa, JuanMa, and Linares. But he's also a young kid with a built in fanbase and a pretty fan friendly style. We need more guys like him.

As a fan I'd still like to see him fight Jorge if only because he deserves the payday.

Again, who has Linares beaten? Klassen would've smashes Linares like he did Baloyi.

Linares makes no effort and is injury prone. He beat Larios, WOW. So did Aoh.

I like Linares' skill, no doubt. But until he proves he can maintain it against a top-level fighter he's no one. Two-weight classes means nothing but you've only beaten 'opponents' to claim and defend them.

He's a fundamentally sound technician too. You can say he's ordinary, but no moreso than say Luevano. If ordinary and by-the-book is effective it's hard to knock it. He isn't extremely athletic or well-conditioned but he's obviously shown that he can overcome that. Even without his backstory he's a guy you want good things to happen to, as a fighter. The Yordan backlash was and is ridiculous. Boxing fans are such fickle group-think suckers sometimes.

Linares beat the **** out of Gameliel Diaz, a guy who wen't 1-1 against Guerrero.

how about you watch Linares vs Larios, and then watch Aoh vs Larios, and come back to tell me whose CLEARLY the better fighter.

I have no problem with that. Both winnable, especially with foreknowledge of what to expect from each and how hungry and prepared to come in.
