    Merchant has never agreed with some bull**** ... he might not like the fighter but i've never seen him go against his own (unofficial) scoring.

    I think with Malignaggi's performance and all the odds stacked against him ... there would've beens some new found respect for him.

    I doubt if Diaz gets the rematch with Marquez ...

    Larry Merchant sucks big time. his voice is so annoying and stuttery. and he always takes like a minute to ask a semi inchorent question. the dude has alzheimers or some ****. but then don't all comentators suck.

    Merchant would have respected Paulie's effort, but he'd never have called that fight the way Max did. He'd probably have asked Diaz though if he thought 118-110 was a fair score.

    Larry vs. a revved up Paulie could have been classic.
