Would be a great fight if it happened, even though I would rather see Hatton retired.

Thanks for posting the vid:good. Sensible fight for both if it happens. Very tough to call as well- it wasn't too long ago Hatton dismantled Malignaggi and Diaz is more than established with the big boys in spite of the Campbell shock:think. Very good fight. Let's hope it's in Vegas or somewhere neutral if it happens.

This would be a great fight...... but if Hatton does fight again it needs to be at 147.

He isn't as bad at 147 as he or many others like to believe.

Up until the Pacquiao fight I'd have taken him to beat Berto easily. Subject to a tuneup fight I may think the same thing.

Can't see the vid, how definite does this seem to be?

Not very. ODLH was just making it clear that Diaz would fight out of Houston if he had to. ODLH used Hatton in Manchester as an example- he didn't say anything like 'the fight is signed', he was just giving an example of a situation where Diaz would fight in front of a partisan crowd like his own fans in Houston:good.

I would give Hatton 3 rounds before he gets stopped and maybe 7 in his prime.

Juan Diaz would be at a serious disadvantage at 147. I think he should be fighting at super feather!

    What makes you say that?

Berto would be much too strong for Hatton at this stage I think. Andre has his vulnerabilities but I think he would hurt Hatton quite a lot.

I think Diaz vs Hatton would be a great fight... but Hatton needs to fight at 147 because I think that 140 without Kerry Kayes isn't feasible without losing his natural advantages.

Clearly Diaz would be disadvantaged, and that's why the fight probably shouldn't (and won't IMO) happen.

I don't see why Hatton can't beat Berto... the only thing that would worry me is his lack of discipline.... which proved costly in both his losses and also against Collazo, Tszyu, Phillips and Magee at various points.

Diaz wins by a mile. Hattons best bet is Khan or retirement.

To add to my previous post..... I have always said that Berto is an accident waiting to happen.

His footwork isn't great, his hands aren't that quick... he just seems... sort of clunky.

If Hatton could repeat the first four rounds against Urango for the full fight I think he would outpoint, or maybe stop Berto.

That said, you cannot realistically guage what he has left.
