It mattered because Pac had already acclimatized himself in the 130 division. In addition to that, it was a clean fight (no headbutt) and Pac was allowed to wear the gloves of his own choice. In other words, Morales was not destroyed by Raheem. He was not knocked out nor knocked down. Morales simply could not adjust himself fighting in a higher weight. In the 2nd fight, Morales was actually competitive in the first six rounds but his legs gave way due to constant body shots by Pac in early rounds. The 3rd showed that Pac had tremendously improved with every fight.

PAc showed heart in the Marquez fight, but showed his true heart in the Morales fight. People still had questions about Pac's heart after losing by ko twice early in his career. Pac has answered the bell on his heart. Stop belittling both guys. As long as PAc fans acknowledge that Morales was 'past it' when Pac beat him, fans know that it was still a great Morales who beat PAc, and a Pac who got better and got revene on a still decent Morales in fight 2.
