Floyd and it is not even close.

He fights big named opponent and he dances in the ring to avoid any kind of exchanges and he gets paid for it.

JMM, Pac and Cotto wages war and earn their bread deservingly.

You have a good argument here, Lance. However, you have to understand that America is about controversy and those stereotypical tactics as you call it, I call business marketing. It exists on every channel because it sells. Here's how I see it brotha, these sport phenoms on tv maybe have 5 years to make as much money as they can and retire. Well, except maybe basketball players where it's like 10 years. Especially in high physcial sports like football and boxing, the risk is very, very high.


To have Jr. talk ****, flash money, be a loud mouth, arrogant, disrespectful, etc., you have to understand this is a brilliant and textbook money making tactic in his situation. He caters to technical boxing fans. He caters to the young, black, hip hop population. And here's the best part - the textbook part - with his repulsive persona, and undefeated record, even if he can't be the people's champ nor the exciting brawler, he has their fans paying to watch his fights hoping he'd lose to one of them.

My favorite boxer to watch right now is Pac right, but ****, I respect Jr. for what he does. You can't hate that ****. In the short, luxurious, career he has he's made a lot of money, been undefeated, and hardly hurt due being a cocky, ****-talking, technical artist. What can you say bro, he did get to De la Hoya and Hatton first and made more money than Pac. Maybe Pac is a high risk right now after a hiatus in the ring. But it sure saids a lot when he comes back accepting Marquez's callout - Marquez being the one who gave Pac the most fits. Anyone who is undefeated, making money, and stirring up **** is not overpaid or underperforming.

Assuming how this forum is, this poll is more setup than Diaz vs Malignaggi.

This controversy about Pac vs Floyd is exactly what boxing needed. I hope his first L comes by Pac.

I think of Pacquaio as Tarver at the moment. He fights old fighters and fighters who have limited technical skill. When he fights legitimate fighters, he doesn't win convincingly (Marquez- I had him winning by 1 round both fights). At least Mayweather wins convincingly in all his fights.

Well, of course 85% of voters will agree that boxing's bad boy is overpaid while underperforming. If we were talking about W. Bush here, hell, I'd be one of those 85ers too.

It also probably means that most of those voters probably don't appreciate the technical aspects of boxing. The **** coaches try and embed in your brain until you vomit so when you have a brave Brit coming right at you, you have that checkhook embedded in your brain and use it to knock that MF out.
