Doesn't matter. He was struggling against a one dimensional featherfisted fighter for half of the fight and he's supposed to stand a
chance against Floyd 2 divisions up?

hopefully JMM retains some speed. He may be stronger as he should being heavier, but speed is an important factor when fighting PBF. He should make Floyd fight his game which i doubt, since Floyd isnt the kind of fighter that likes engaging with the opponent. JMM works best when his opponent makes the mistake of engaging with him and he times his opponents well. Floyd's speed and physical advantages will suffice. Moving in and out running circles.

Nobody wants to soak in the sorry shite you say because it has no relevance to anything anyone is talking about. PAc has never sold out any arena on his own, and he was never the draw except in the David diaz fight which sold shite.

I don't believe any of your half empty lies about PAc and Floyd because PAc wasn't the draw against Dlh or Hatton just like Floyd, and Floyd shitted on Pac's ppv's against common opponents, and I don't even care about ppv's.

You don't ever have to repeat yourself to me because I **** all over the sorry shite you post anyway. Marquez struggled with Diaz lol...JMM moved up in weight, and knocked Diaz out while Paulie LOST to Diaz because he chcken pecked him. It wasn't a dominating performance by Paulie. Keep it real with me, and i'll keep it real with you.

The 4 inches arm reach advantage is simply not possible.

Mayweather, who is 172 cm tall has a reach of 183, which translate to a 5 inch reach advantage against JMM. But that number reflect wing span, meaning from the end of the middle finger to the end othe the middlle finger ot the other hand. If you analyse properly yhe Boxrec's stats, his reach is 72 inches, which translates to 6 feet. Don't tell me that his arms are that long that the orangutan would look moire human than Mayweather if that happens.

At most, his reach advantage is 2 1/2 inches (5 inches divided into 2), if we consider that they have the same shoulder width, otherwise, the advantage decreases significantly which is probably the case as abviously, Mayweather has the bigger upper body. And if Mayweather has one of those long fingers more suited for piano paying, then that advantage decreases even further. They do not take reach measurements with the hand clenched, which should be because the tips of the finger is not used for punching.

I believe it's still going to be competitive.

And does it make you think or wonder why PBF chose JMM as opponent? :deal

Agreed, I don't see Floyd taking any chances with a crafty veteran who has been in and Won some wars. Floyd would be smart to outbox JMM for 12 rounds than stand in there and trade.

I understand we refer the reach info from Boxrec and Floyd enjoys 5 inches reach advantage over JMM...

I got this arm length data from HBO tale of the tape... HBO listed Floyd having 26 inches in arm length and listed JMM having 22 inches arm length... You can check your fight video library for these numbers... Please check PBF-DLH fight and JMM-Diaz fight...

I think arm length is measured from the armpit to the tip of the fingers...

So Floyd enjoys 4 inches advantage in arm length over JMM...

Its not many times that I agree with a *******.

The thing that people fail to take into account is that if JMM does'nt war and fight fire with fire against Diaz, the Mayweather fight would have never been made.
Marquez has essentially been told that he needs to seek KO's and make his fights more exciting to land big fights.

I mentioned it at the time that JMM fought Diaz.....that the ring was small and JMM likes to move at much wider angles to lull the puncher into his counters.....
.....the small ring that night against Diaz, prevented JMM from moving at the angles he normally takes.

Paulie Malignaggi is a natural mover.....its a big part of his game plans, and even he mentioned that the ring size in Texas did'nt help his matters.

The thing with JMM is that he got acclamated to and made his ring adjustments and took over the fight past the 3rd round against Diaz.

The way you people are depicting JMM's performance against Juan Diaz, reminds me very much of Evander Holyfield's performance against Bert Cooper......

Holyfield dominated Cooper in 7 or the 8 rounds they fought, but because Cooper was able to stun and drop Holyfield.....the only thing that naysayers can remember of the fight is the one round where Cooper hurt Holyfield........those same nonsensical people see the Holyfield-Cooper fight as a struggle for Holyfield, yet for one punch and one round Holyfield dominated for most of the fight.

Its a similar situation with JMM. It took him a couple or rounds to adjust to the small ring against a pressure fighter, and then he took over the fight, beating and wearing Juan Diaz down, and then putting an exclamation point on the fight by emphatically putting out a fighter who had never before been close to being stopped.

If we put an emphasis on slow starts by fighters, we could say that a fighter as great as Alexis Arguello struggled in nearly every one of his fights.

.....but the truth is that JMM like Arguello, are and were ring generals who study and make in ring adjustments at a rate so much at a higher level than almost everyone of their peers.

JMM may very well lose to Mayweather (I happen to believe he's got a realistic chance to pull the upset)......but one thing I am very confident about is that afterward....win or lose for JMM, I'll be able to pull out this thread and laugh and shake my head at the many posters here that see Marquez as a fighter without a chance!:deal:hi:

You're certainly free to roam this board......but I'd certainly appreciate it if you would'nt respond to my posts.......
......you're two faced.....you'll be here roaming this board and making fun of JMM if he loses to Mayweather......and you'll do the same, laughing it up if JMM wins and saying you were rooting for him to beat the ultra prime Mayweather.

Of course we all know that you knew it all along.:patsch

Just reading your predictable posts have become a joke!

If you can stay away from my exchanges with others here, Id' be appreciative.

I mean what I say. I hope JMM wins. i'll give him 100% credit if he wins!
Mark this post if you want. If PBF wins! I would not give him full credit.

I only ask one thing from you too. Stop :|:|:| that the judges are corrupt and incompetent if JMM losses by UD or SD. That reasoning by you is likewise sooooo pridictable everytime you don't like the results.

Then we can agree from now on to get out of eachothers way......its obvious you have a problem with what you percieve as whining from me.......that is simply alleviated by ignoring and not responding to my posts.

.....likewise your posts in response to mine have become all too predictable and repetitive to the point of nauseum.

When there is nothing credible to add to a thread, its best not to respond at all.

Noted. What a coincibence! The feeling is mutual. You also have the same problem by not answering the issues but instead talk about other things..

Yeah! I guess you are right! It's hard to exchange threads for someone who always beleive that his boxer is robbed whenever he losses.

    Lets just ignore each other..:thumbsup
