Agreed ... Tavoris Cloud COULD be something very special ..... and put American boxing back on the map ..
he only managed to stop a talentless and shot , although tough gonzalez and a series of bums , so , i still wouldn't call him a beast for his (inside) ring accomplishments. woods is also not a big talent and never was , about the same as gonzalez in many aspects , but i voted 'cloud by decision' , stoppage for him is also possible , but a stoppage for woods is the most unlikable occurence. although woods beat gonzalez twice , he was stopped by roy who couldn't stop gonzalez and also stands 1:1:1 against johnson (although probably got a present in at least one of their fights - all of their 3 fights were in the UK !) that same gonzalez is 1:0 over johnson , although a very close one and in johnson's bad days. woods and gonzalez are very similar , so cloud will win this time also. a real test will come against tarver (if it will ever happen) or against some other young lhw (i remember cloud calling out dawson by stating - fight someone your own age) if cloud himself wants any piece of someone like , say , uzelkov (exciting it will be). he also has brahmer (i think that cloud is better) , garay , campillo , murat , shumenov and others , so i think he should prove himself against above medicore oposition in at least 2 more fights after gonzalez , before calling out anyone like dawson. at this stage , dawson will make a calzaghe-lacy on him.
US boxing is on the map moreso than brit boxing...that's for damn sure. You mofos claim Joe Calzhage is the best British fighter ever...that alone proves how far down the shitter british boxing is.

im going out on a limb here and saying woods by stoppage (third time lucky)... Cloud has a very good jab. though he is still very predictable and raw. I hope Woods makes up for his last showing against Tarver and at least goes in to the ring with some confidence. Christ, Woods went 36 rounds with Johnson whereas someone like chad dawson was lucky to get past the first 3 rounds when he fought old glengoffe. Woods has the tools but Cloud will be hungrier. it is common knowledge that clinton does not travel well,though i personally believe this may be one last hurrah for the sheffield warrior,if he can get his mindset right that is! i wish him the best.
Woods is British level the guy has beat nobody and looked AWFUL against a faded Tarver. He is Enzo Maccarinelli with a Chin.
Woods is no great,but the version we seen against Tarver is no indication of Woods capabilities.He was unprepared and unmotivated against Tarver.I've no idea of how this fight will go,i'm just hoping Woods doesn't have the same mentality as he did against Tarver.
