Lets score the diaz v malignaggi fight again. Videos included

Dude you're a jackass. Originally I scored the 12th for Juan but re-watching the fight I can see a case for Paulie. Juan was talking about "Getting careless and caught with jabs by trying to win that last round." He thought he needed it but obviously he was saying he didn't do himself favors. He doesn't want "His head to fly back and make the other guys head fly back more." Paulie closes the last 1:30 of round 12 and picks him apart. The punch track numbers are way off Paulie definitely out-lands Diaz in the last round.

Surprisingly enough I think Diaz has a case for round 8. At best the fight is a draw. At the most realistic he lost.

 

Paulie was very fast. However, if you look at a lot of the rounds he started to clown around and there were a lot of instances where he was dancing away from diaz and not really firing any shots. Diaz shots were more telling. And, a lot of Paulies punches looked like they were being caught on Diaz's gloves. I agree there is no way the scores, except for the 115-113, reflect this fight. however, while i was watching i could see where paulie was letting the fight slip away. yes, he gave diaz a boxing lesson, but there were several moments during the round were diaz was the aggressor and paulie looked like delayhoa in the last few rounds against tito.

 

No way Paulie took the 12th.

Either way he wins the fight. On my official scorecard he didn't win the 12th but still won 7-5

 

The 12th round could have go either way. People must be blind if they think Diaz won the 12th round clearly.

 

Yeah, you agreeing with Lederman, who on the same night said Danny Jacobs gave Ishe Smith a boxing lesson, does loads for your credibility. LOL

I had the same, the 6th and 12th were the only debatable rounds so I can see nothing better for Juan other than a draw. Diaz looked off balance and awkward all night, and if you watch closely he throws multiple shots at Paulie's guard and the crowd goes nuts.

He landed the harder more telling shots. How could you not?

 

Well that is debatable because I never once saw Paulie even flinch after one of Juan's "Power" shots....all I saw was Paulie outboxing him from the 6th onwards, Juan was chasing shadows all night.
