How is Paulie's post-fight rant anything to do with Nate Campbell?

Paulie fought for 12 rounds, winning the fight in most people's eyes, and then he complained about a 118-110 scorecard.

Campbell was losing a title fight to Timothy Bradley before he suffers a cut. The ring doctor had nothing to say about it, his corner was urging him to carry on, but there's Nate Campbell screaming for the fight to be stopped. In my opinion, it's all speculative, he did it not because he thought he had a severe injury, but because he had a better chance of victory in a rematch with a clean slate and no eye injury. I frown upon that kind of attitude in a professional prizefighter.

    The right decision was made.

The fight was stopped because Campbell suffered an eye injury.

    Here's to the rematch.

Both guys felt they had been screwed and made a spectacle in the ring after the fight.

How is the ring doctor, his corner, or anyone else suppose to know that Nate saw spots in his vision? Only Nate would know and so at this point one can only question his integrity. There's no history to my knowledge of Nate ever quitting and imo Bradley's performance wasn't impressive enough to convince me that he forced Nate into submission.

The point was that surgery wasn't necessary as you've implied.

I thought Bradley won every round, and I guess the only thing I am doing here is questioning the integrity of Nate Campbell. I guess it just winds me up that he blames everyone but himself for the shortcomings in his career.

Campbell don't want no part of a rematch. Mother****er quit so he wouldn't be KOed in the original fight and I don't see how a rematch would be any different. If anything Bradley comes into a rematch even more motivated than before and destroys Campbell even quicker.

Beenie, where do we have confirmation of Campbell's injury? Is there and MRI or something laying around somewhere? Because I can walk into an ER right now and get diagnosed with a vitreous hemorrhage based on claiming I have spots in my vision. I want to see the PHYSICAL EVIDENCE. I read Nate's "statement." That's not good enough.

Just like the strings Gary Shaw pulled for a TKO

Truth is Bradley doesn't want a rematch. Didn't want the first fight but Showtime wouldn't buy his other options. He knows that without a Gary Shaw paid stacked deck, he gets KTFO! Just like he would've if he wasn't using his head! Take the fight away from Cali and Timmy goes down! Hell, Diaz was teaching him how to grab Nate in the dressing room. Probably taght him the butt when the camera wasn't on.

I'd never noticed that before, but yeah, I was at an 8 count. It was a pretty damn fast count.

If there's going to be a fast one, though, I'm happy it's this one. Poetic justice.

Like it or not it was the correct call. It should have been ruled a NC from the start. Campbell was smart in knowing that it wasnt his night and that Bradley was going to open a can on his ass. Its not going to make him any new fans and will cost him alot, but right is right. Plus in the end does it REALLY matter??? We all know that Bradley was going to win the fight and that he would win a rematch.
