I hope they don't reward the quitter by giving him a rematch.Bradley should go on to bigger and better matches and let Campbell earn his way back to a big fight.

Clearly we have two different takes on how we viewed Nate's behavior. You apparently viewed it as acting and I've given him the benefit of the doubt. He said he saw spots in his vision and I don't believe that there's a legitimate reason enough to suspect that he lied. Bradley was indeed pitching a shutout up until the stoppage but I wouldn't call his performance dominant to the point where he forced Nate into submission.

No contest is the right call, but no doubt Bradley was on his way to a dominating win, a rematch is pointless as well because no one wants to see that fight. Age has caught up with Nate Cambell, his not the same fighter.

Is it so unreasonable to think that Nate cried wolf only in this case he was bitten?

Based on the rules, it's legit. But in reality, Campbell looked for a way out and we all know this.

Nate Campbell didn't make a good enough attempt to overcome the adversity in my eyes. I can give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's just a cluster of things that irritate me about Nate Campbell. Sometimes I think he's better at talking than he is at fighting. Had he ****ed off to the hospital immediately after the fight was stopped, that would validate his genuine concern about the injury. My belief is that he saw the perfect opportunity to get out of the fight without a loss on his record.

Nate Campbell takes no responsibility for where his career has headed. He thinks he is hard done by in the same way Marvin Hagler was for a great deal of his early career. It's simply not true. He was knocked out by Peden due to his own negligence, much like he lost all of his titles due his own negligence, and for all of the talking, he quits because of a headbutt. You can understand the fans frustration with this guy.

In a case like this one you have to lean further to the left to go that way, Beenie. MUCH further.

I think alot of the people who could smell the scam have seen alot of scams, know how to pull scams, and/or have a history of scam pulling. That's how one knows these things. DEFINITIVELY. Now if you want to take that sequence of events, Campbell's CLEAR MOTIVE, Campbell's statements, and Campbell's behavior; and throw it all out the window this isn't about the truth anymore it is it? This is about what people want to believe.

I didnt think that it was hard to understand..Let me slow it down for you...

THE FIGHT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A NC... IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.... THERE IS NO NEED TO HAVE A REMATCH, IT WAS CLEAR WHO WAS THE BETTER FIGHTER.

bll****, campbell does not deserve that, now it gives the impression when a fighter gets cut they can quit and get a rematch

I think a rematch should happen. Only 4 rounds were in the books, fights are won and lost in the later rounds in a lot if not most cases. Nate Campbell can make necessary adjustments, to what extent they will benefit him we would have to wait and see. I'm not calling out for a rematch, but is one necessary for both men? Someone needs to be vindicated, surely?

Yep. That's about what I expected.. :rofl

It should have been a NC??

    How was the fight stopped?

Did the ref stop the fight because of the cut from a headbutt??

    NO.

The doctor stopped the fight because Nate said he could not see.

    That's a TKO.

Are you misinformed or plain stupid? Honestly..

If you were Nate and had been butted which caused a cut and a hemorrhage that resulted in spots that blinded your vision, and the ref deemed the cut was caused from a punch which consequently meant you losing the fight, wouldn't you be a bit pissed off? I see why he stuck around to argue because I could see myself doing the same if I were wronged in a similar fashion.
