Well, then Diaz must have some freakish body type where no matter how hard he trains, he's still got excess around his stomach. Name me one other "elite" fighter that looks like Diaz does outside of the HW and CW division. I just think he's comfortable at 135. But i don't think that means he can't make 130 comfortably and probably be even more effective there. I mean this is the highest level here. Every little advantage matters. Never thought that Diaz coming in with excess fat did him any favors.

Tony Ayala had the same body type as Diaz. Was never cut at 154, yet was a very natural 154 pounder who competed in that division since his teens. Diaz has the same body type that Ayala had.

Some yall put waaayy too much into physique. Diaz just simply doesnt have a ripped body type, but he's a true and natural 135 pounder. He doesnt appear like a big lightweight, but he's a thick one. Not an outta shape thick either, its just how the guy is built.

Like I said before... he's too big to make 130, and too small to successfully compete at 140. 135 is where he needs to be. But i dunno if he'll go back. My guess is that he'll cash out against Hatton at 140.

No. No. No. Let him stay at 140 so he gets KTFHO again like in the Marquez fight(although that was at 135). See thats the beauty of getting KO'd, not even the judges can save you(the ref still can as in Cintron's case).

He doesnt need to stay at 140 to get KO'd. At 135 I'd bet my house on Valero to stretch him. Juan is too defensively challenged to survive against Valero.

So that's one example. Is that it? I mean over the years, we've had hundreds of "elite" fighters in the lower divisions and they all pretty much look like a boxer should. You know, cut up and all. And Diaz isn't. Like i said, i think he can make 130, i just think that he's comfortable at 135 and that's why he's staying there. I mean if what you said is actually true, he's got some freakish body.

Defensively challenged is one thing but being featherfisted is a real career killer especially if you can't box. It's likely he won't make it out of the first round against Valero cause Edwin knows he can't punch so will be trading big shots right from the bell.

So, he can't lose some of that fat and go down to 130? Dude, just because he's been fighting doesn't mean he can't drop down there. If he worked hard enough I bet he could go down to 130 without any problem, instead he chooses to fight at 145. I mean, do you know him? Do you know how his body works? May'be you need to do some thinking bud and don't critize other people's opinion on a FORUM.

    dumbass.

Another KO loss which Hatton is capable of giving him will severely affect Juan's boxing career. He shouldn't fight any guy at 140, he should immediately go back to 135 and unify the division which he almost did before.

Anyone can cut water and fat, and fat is something that he has in abundance.

How he couldn't cut 5 pounds of fat is beyond me. It's not like he needs to cut muscle (which is what hurts fighters) he needs to lose FLAB!!

Think about it dude. Do you know his workout regime consists of? It's not your traditional boxer workout regime, you knew that right?

Because of the lack of time his workout schedule and regime is a bit different to most boxers. Bet you didn't know that.

    Think next time you talk.
