Vitali would knock him out by breathing on him

Odom is a softie on the basketball court. I don't think he has the grit to step in the ring.

I think a lot of Bballers have the physical basics.

Just look at what LeBron James is capable of physically at 6'8" and 250 lbs. Just from an athletic point of view, he would be one alpha male heavyweight.

But boxing is also about being a tough SOB. A lot of people seriously disregard what kind of warriors professional boxers at the top level are. And this is something that's hard to train for.

Odom definitely has the physical make up to be a damn good boxer, but probably not the amount of courage necessary or the balls to do it, it's the reason why he gravitated to basketball rather than boxing.

You have to be a very special tough fearless SOB to want to be HWT champ of the world.

Jeez, Vitali is big, that's a 6'10" basketball post player in there and he is barely shorter, but much stronger.

Shaq did fight Tarver a few years back, remember? He is clumsy, throws wide clubbering punches just like Tye Fields.
IF people want to know what Shaq and other big basketball players would look like at boxing they just need to watch Tye Fields vs Monte Barret.

People forget that boxing (together with MMA) is freaking hardest toughest sport on the planet and meant for very few gifted ones.

Holy hell Vitali is a gigantic man! Having said that, he also looks to be the much sturdier built of the two. Not too surprising when you compare a heavyweight boxer to a long, lanky basketball player.
