floyd beats zab and its a bad win
cotto beats zab and its one of his bigger wins
floyd beats oscar & hatton and he beats washed up shells
manny beats oscar & hatton and its the truth

just some small irony.. i know its been talked about before as well

 

My boy McNabb pointed this out and Vince Young and Jason Campbell couldn't wait to tell the media that McNabb didn't know what he's talking about. I'll bet their asses agree with McNabb now.

Don't forget that Cotto fans love to try to play up his win against Paulie because Paulie was undefeated at the time and then turn around and dismiss Floyd's win over Hatton even though Hatton was undefeated and would later kick the **** out of Paulie. Glorified club fighter Ricardo Torres is another supposedly great win because he won some paper title on a close decision, but Money's win over linear champ Baldo means nothing.

When was there ever a good time for Cotto to fight Collazo? When Cotto moved to 147, Collazo had just lost to Hatton. Instead of Collazo, he took on Carlos Quintana who is just as capable as Collazo is, if not more. A couple of months after Cotto moved to 147, Collazo was nearly shut out by Shane Mosley.

Nate Campbell was fighting predominately at 130 pounds while Cotto was at 140, and only moved to 135 near the end of Cotto's reign at junior welterweight.

Holt got iced in a single round by Thomas Davis so I don't think you can exactly hold anything against Cotto for not fighting him.

Spinks was at junior welterweight months before Cotto even fought at welterweight.

Berto? Only recently has a possible Cotto-Berto fight even made sense.

Baldomir? Baldomir beat Zab in January 07. Cotto had a manadatory defense due 90 days after his win over Carlos Quintana which was in December 06. Baldomir then targeted Arturo Gatti and Mayweather.

It seems to me you question Cotto's resume for all the wrong reasons. He's actually beaten better fighters than the ones your criticize him for not fighting.

 

You got some basis. But there's no way in hell Cotto should have fought 135lb Campbell who was getting sparked on FNF. Really Holt or green Berto 154lb Spinks Baldo? This **** is funny these guys weren't even in his weight class. The only fights I would criticize him for not making is Hatton or Floyd!

Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey are the cream of the crop at welter no bull****. Everyone has flaws and when you actually fight real competition it shows. Is he the best no. But he gives anyone at welter hell ANYONE.

Please fellas don't pull the race card it makes you lose any ground or credibility. Feel sorry for yourself on your time.
