Hell, if this is how it's gonna be, Holyfield might as well start campaigning for another title shot.

Ruiz is telling it like it is. He got screwed against Valuev TWICE and everyone knows it, people seem to accept the man getting robbed because they don't like him, those aren't real fans of this sport.

Ruiz deserves a shot because he earned it FIGHTING, not talking trash.

Amazing isn't it. Ruiz has all the "skills" of a high grade clubfighter and has never knocked out anybody above the fringe contender level.

Hell, he's only even WON two of his last 6 fights, and those against a tomato can and a washed up fringe contender.

Ruiz was screwd against Valuev in the rematch too?

I know everyone was bitching about the first fight's decision but not so much about the rematch. :huh

  7. am a bit high but please hear me out. dogs are born with balls and are pretty wild and crazy when there in their prime. but dog owners choose to have them castrated(?). After the dog has lost his balls he has been robbed of that inner-strengh and that zip and proceeds to just laze around the house without a purpose and get fat. No longer does he get in your way when you bring the shopping in or bark when you are talking on the phone or wake you in the middle of the night howling for no apparent reason.
will somebody please castrate john ruiz and hope he goes the way of the dog!

Yup. Used his jab to set up some meaty uppercuts and keep this **** bag away from the belts.

I think Ruiz probably deserves the fight more than Haye. Say what you want about Ruiz, but he will fight anyone, anywhere. He lost 3 close fights in Germany to Gemany based fighters, Valuev (2) and Chageav.

Haye on the other hand has beaten one heavyweight of some note, Monte Barrett. Barrett has been on the down side of his career for about 5 years prior to facing Haye.

    So Go Jawny!!!

Ruiz fights in Germany because no one will pay to put on his pathetic hold-fests in the U.S.

There is a limit to the amount of snake oil you can peddle to the American public. Even Don King recognized this - after HBO and Showtime refused to put up any more cash for the pathetic excuse for "boxing" Ruiz puts on.

I guess this is one of the few times that I can only agree with you.

Some people say this is not Haye's fault. It is. He had the fights with the Klitchkos signed and ready to go. He pulls out and signs to fight Valuev, and there are rules at the WBA. This serves him right. Now he has no fight maybe, and the Klitchkos feel justified that he has no chance to win a title for awhile.

No way did Ruiz get screwed he lost both fights period. To get a third is just plain stupid. It would seem the WBA likes this club fighter so much they are willing to have fans scorn them for trying to subject us to more of this cheating bums so called boxing matches. Ruiz is garbage who lost not one time but twice to x middleweights. Ruiz is a disgrace to the sport.

Those are Ruiz's only wins in his last six fights. Yet this fraud keeps getting shot after undeserved shot. Sickening.:barf

If the WBA held to the view that Ruiz has been legitimatley defeated twice by Valuev, there's plenty of reasonable grounds for Ruiz to have to wait.

The judge should be shown two rounds of the Ruiz Vs Rahman fight and one round from each Valuev fight.

He would then rule that a further challenge for the title against Valuev would constitute cruel and unusual punishment for boxing fans.
