    You know what would be great? If David Haye came out and said "I've been in training since November last year, if John Ruiz wants to fight, we can do it in October. I'll knock him out, then still be able to fight Valuev in November."

    This is what I want out of a heavyweight fighter. Forget this scientific crap about peaking and making sure training is 100% specific - if you're tough enough to be the heavyweight champion of the world as Haye wants to be, then you're tough enough to fight one over the hill bum in October and one rapidly ageing giant the next month.

    It should be no problem for Haye at his age. Tyson fought monthly at the start of his career.

    I don't see anywhere in the linked article that indicates which side would cancel the fight as a result of the mandatory. Usually it's the champion that opts to keep the belt. Why would anyone place the blame on Haye?

    It aint off, Haye aint a ***** or a fraud its just Ruiz making noise reminding everyone he is still about. There is too much money involved, esp now Sky involved with Haye for this to be cancelled. Ruiz will either be paid to step aside for now or be made wba champion emiratus or wba diamond champion or some **** to apease him then he'll be told he will have his manditory ko off haye by end of Mar 2010! Then hopefully we wont hear from him again.

    If he is forced out of this fight or loses to Valuev I am sure he reconsiders his retirement schedule due to financial reasons :lol:

    I had posted when they announced the fight that big mouth no action Haye would not go off, the guy is all talk then he backs out because all the guy wants is attention that his mom never gave him, no body with a big name is going to want to fight this goof ball because most probable he will back out..:lol::lol: HAYE IS A jOKE.

    The only thing worse than Haye's Glass Jaw is his negotiating skills. :lol::rofl:patsch

    Gives up 2 free title shots against either Klitschko then goes and tries to fight the easy way out and still can't even do it right. Booth should kill himself what a clown.

    One would think. It didn't take Mayweather long to comeback, and Haye isn't even close to making the type of bankroll PBF pulls in.

    Guys you're forgetting that if David Haye gets that belt King knows he won't get Ruiz in the ring with him & if he does it'll most likely be a UK home fight therefore home advantage so King will move heaven & earth to prevent the belt being on the line.

    On top of this Haye won't fight without a belt on the line;
    This content is protected
    & who can honestly see that happening? No way Haye gets a points win in Germany ergo haye pulls out its that
    simple.
