A mini-Holyfield's an alright comparison, especially considering Holy didn't really stop many people at Heavyweight (and had the dome and the will to throw some mean headbutts. :D)

Tim's in the same boat, since he's got what I like to call functional power -enough that people have to respect it and can't just walk right through it , but not enough to score stoppages consistently at the upper levels of the weight (he's got 2 in his last 10 fights) He's not a puncher, but he stings enough to execute his gameplan, and that's the most important factor.

He also has great punch placement which always helps out when you don't have top notch power.

I'm kind of glad these two guys have a little blood rivalry. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Agreed on both points. I'm more interested in seeing the rematch than I probably should be because of it. :good

If Tim feels he got jobbed, he'll have another 12 rounds to work out his frustration.

Every fighter enters the risk with a certain risk rate.

When those rates drastically increase, a fighter has the right to stop.

campbell may have retained his ranking in the various boxing sanctioning bodies, but his ranking in the eyes of boxing fans go way down.

Do you honestly think those two sentences contain all the information needed to come to the conclusion you have?

Why have you underlined 'doctor' and 'he could not see'? Are you saying that if a doctor stops a fight it must be a TKO?

You don't even mention why he couldn't see - the most important factor in determining whether it should be a TKO or a NC.
