I gave Shane 3 of the last 4 rounds (the 10th was more of a "gift" round from me, I wanted to score it even), and still had Cotto winning by 2 points.
QUOTE=Rumsfeld I know I am in the minority on this one, but I had Mosley winning. I concede, Mosley is one of my favorite fighters, so I may have been biased. However, everyone else I watched the fight with also had Mosley winning, and the guy who made a bet with me (and picked Cotto) had it a draw. In fairness, I have not seen that fight in a very long time.[/QUOTE] i had SSM as well, but maybe i'm like you and he's my second favorite nxt to pac. i tell you if that fight was in LA or LV mosley would have gotten the nod. i think w,richardson training SSM if they ever fought again, SSM will stop MC in 8 rds.
Cotto by a razor thin decision. A draw or Cotto by one round seemed the most likely score when i scored it, though i have only ever scored it once.
Yeah, my perception of the fight was that it was a close but clear win for Cotto. Personally, I wouldn't call it "razor-thin" because there's no way I can see this fight given to Mosley. But that's just my opinion, of course.
I got a question, where is the poll to pick a draw? Anyway i thought it was a draw. Many people that was next to me are big time Cotto fans and they thought it was a draw.
There's a reason for that. I didn't want to give people an "easy way out" option. Pick a winner, damnit.
Cotto won the fight, close but clear. I've rescored it 3 times since Mosley beat Margarito, and have it 7-5 for Miguel every time.
I felt cotto edged out three close rounds therefore having him by a score of 116-112. One of my all time favorite boxing matches. What should've happen is a rematch instead of Cotto-Pacquiao but the money is bigger with Pac right now. I hope it still happens some time.
