Quoting Mosley in his interview with Max Kellerman right after his fight with Cotto: "Miguel Cotto is not only a powerful pressure fighter, but he's an alright boxer too. So, he mixes it up pretty good, and, you know, he did a terrific job. I felt that the young warrior is a watch-out, he's ready for greatness. I thought it was a very-very close fight, but you know for a guy to be in the ring with me like that and be able to fight me back... you know I gotta take my hat off to him". And later on, when he was talking about his next fights he said: "...The young warrior, he got the decision, he beat me, hey I'm not getting any younger...".
He knotted his head when they announced the winner he agreed to it, how clear does it have to be? Stop haten.
That didn't say Mosley thought Cotto won the fight. The last quote " The young Warrior, he got the decision" <<<<<That don't sound like he's saying Cotto clearly beat him. More like he's saying "the judges gave him the win"
I guess you haven't know me that well cause i been a big supportive of Cotto. I defend that guy alot of times. So don't call me a hater you newbie. Knotting don't mean that much. Mosley still thought it was a draw just like his dad and the rest of boxing writers. I thought it was a draw as well. But hey it was a real close fight that could go either way.
^^^^^^^^^^^^ :verysad You are a sad newbie. I guess you miss the part that i say "i've been a big supportive of Cotto" Oh well.
No fighter will ever claim the other one beat him, when it's a close fight that goes to the judges. Noone. The thing is, Mosley himself didn't say he thought he won the fight (basically the way he responded made him look like he's avoiding to answer the question in a crystal clear way) and they way he talked made most people think he knew he lost a close fight. You can't deny that. And Mosley never implied that the judges made a wrong decision. He mentioned the judges so that he wouldn't respond with a yes or no when asked if he thought he won the fight.
It doesn't cause first my volume suck so i can't hear it. Also Oscar was the one that was talking so i can't hear what he says. I remember that Mosley said he thought it was a draw. As the other guy post Mosley clear said "it was a very very close fight". <<<<<<In which he's trying to say he didn't think Cotto won the fight. Whyelse Mosley wants to fight Cotto in the rematch on the west coast? :think
Lets make a few facts clear. Cotto has more victories over current Ring magazine top ten fighters than anybody else
I hate Pacquiao more then any fighters. He's way overrated by most here imo. I hope Cotto puts an end to Pacquiao in november.
