some people view boxing as a soap opera more than a sport.

What's wrong with fighters wanting big money fights and calling them out?

Even a moron like Edwin Valero can call out everybody and their momma. That's their prerogative.

This argument would be a hell of a lot more prevalent if Hatton wasn't last in talks to fight somebody who doesn't deserve a shot at him.

Not only that but what's wrong with Juan Diaz calling him out? I see a lot of people saying "He doesn't deserve to get a fight with Hatton!" but that doesn't mean he can't try.

In my marketing class I sit next to a hot blonde way out of my league, that doesn't mean I can't give it a shot and hope that she has a lapse in judgment.

I agree.... People hold losses against fighters in boxing way waaaaay too hard.

Wow... he lost against JMM and Campbell, big freaking deal, hes a young gun in boxing still fighting it out, when you fight the best you win some you lose some....

That being said, i cant fault him for calling ricky out as this is how he makes his living and hatton is the most realistic big payday...
but imo rickys got bigger fish to fry if he comes back, and diaz needs to focus on re-establishing himself at 135.... he can still have a good legacy. Thing about the average boxing fans is their very fickle and bandwagon riders.... right now diaz aint ****, tomorrows big win and he will be the next coming of JCC.

Bottom line is calling out big paydays is fine and dandy, he wont get it, he hasnt really earned it so i cant blame ricky for not taking the risk... and diaz has other things to achieve should ricky (likely) not accept.

Time for the baby bull to cash out. The Hatton that beat Paulie will beat Diaz

Diaz has only one loss at 135...vs Nate Cambell, a SD at that. Some of you ***s take any opportunity to bash a warrior. Baby Bul is still a Force and a Top Dog at 135.
