Is Calzaghe GREAT or just VERY GOOD?

    Because his raw talents and skills were amazing. But that doesn't change the fact that his resume is lacking.

    Hamed is better IMO, not as accomplished or doesn't have better legacy but possessed more skills and athleticism, better P4P and H2H at their peaks.

    Great, he whooped 2 of your elites on the the list. Yea they were past their primes at the time, but so was he.

    even if joe was past his prime we will never know because we have nothing to gauge him against - and thats the story of his career.

    nobody is a great if they don't challenge and beat great fighters in their prime.

    calzaghe bought a lemon from frank warren and decided to line his pockets instead of chasing prime jones or hopkins.

    thats always easy to say when you're judgng a fighter based on who he fought and when.

    Tarver's best win resulted from a lucky punch in the second round, thrown with his eyes shut.

    Using that logic, you could say Rahman's best win was better than Tyson's best win and lump them together.
