    That was very dipolmatic of Adamek.

    Come fight night, both men will try to decapitate the other. Thats how Poles are. Even if they were Brothers, they would fight. Personal pride is at stake here.

    I'm a bit outdated on these matters, but surprised to see him moving up to HW. He looked like a relatively skinny LHW just a few years ago, now heavyweight?

    Good news though, the heavyweight division can use any talent that is around, and Adamek is quite an exciting fighter. Not sure if his style translates well at heavyweight, though...

    Golota put on a show at the press conference...he was so relaxed, joked, laughed...hope he enters the ring so relaxed and gives the fans another (good) show.

    Boxing is about fame and money. Adamek by fighting Golota may reach much fame, at least in Poland, but for sure it will not be invisible for boxing fans in the world, experts and promoters, also he's gonna get a lot of cash. This is reality, keep talking about avoiding Cunningham, think whatever you want, but Adamek will never reach as much money and fame fighting USS as he will while fighting Golota.

    fights with cunningham (whom adamek's already beaten in 12 round epic), glen johnson, and matt godfrey have all been snubbed by american television.

    fights can't be made without TV money. with TV money he defends vs big puncher with good ama background jon banks. without TV money he defends v clubfighter bobby gunn. ECONOMICS.

    the irony is that adamek went and proved himself in america - 2 weight world champ, exciting fights. but that america won't put on his fights, so he has to go back to poland.

    who do you expect him to fight in his first heavyweight bout? vitali klitschko?:rofl
