The Ali catchweight fight is much more intriguing.

LaMotta took a lot of punches from him. I don't think Pac would be taking all those shots, but I see your point. Of course, Pac and LaMotta are totally different styles, at least vs a Sugar Ray Robinson.

I could have made this fight @ 135. Then again, Robinson never lost at that weight ever. He was fighting as a WW (weight wise) in the one loss to LaMotta, but LaMotta was 160 and SRR was 144 1/2, so it still makes it a MW fight.

Of the 11 people who did pick Pacquiao and are serious, at least give me a legitimate reason you think he could win?

This is the most stupid Poll and thread ive seen on here for quite some time. I think alot of people are getting very carried away with Pac and to mention him in the same breath as the great man really is absurd , if your thinking which option i picked on the poll it was SRR by TKO but in all honesty if the 2 had meet id have gone for brutal KO way of Sugar Ray

I know...or at least that is what I believe as well. I said he'd win by UD but in a competitive fight that wouldn't have been easy.

I wasn't meaning to compare Pac and LaMotta (they're nothing alike), but I think that on a good night Pac could beat Robinson on a bad night.
