Do you not see the difference between a prime DLH at 147 and old, inactive and semi-retired DLH that fought Mayweather? DLH did not have "stamina problems" in his prime - what a load of crap. :roll:
So what exactly has FMJ done at 147 that makes you think he think he is a better Welterweight than prime DLH?
Oscar, as stated by Emanuel Steward(who has trained him), has always had stamina problems because of his tense-ness simliar to Jermain Taylor.

Based on the fact that an over-the-hill DLH won a number of rounds and made it close... (and probably could have edged out a SD win if he stayed with the gameplan)... I believe a prime Oscar would have been able to earn at least a SD win over PBF at 140-147. Floyd is a great boxer,,, but not the #1 ATG great HE thinks he is. IMO at 140+, he loses to a prime SSR, Pryor, Arguello, SRL, Duran, Hearns, JCC, Meldrick Tayor, Pernell Witaker, Mosley, Tito AND Oscar... just to name a few.
The fact that Floyd predicted and stated all along that Oscar would "tire down the stretch" obviously effected his fight strategy. Fighting a prime Oscar he would know he would have to let his hands go more and wouldn't allow Oscar to steal rounds as he attempted to do in the last seconds of many of those rounds. In other words you can't measure the way he fought that night against Oscar in his prime IMO.
I don't rate Floyd very highly at these high weights as some other people do. I have almost every ATG of welter beating Floyd. He hasn't shown me anything at welter that suggests he could beat these guys.
He was smoking crack actively. Looking at the Wilfredo Rivera fights..it was plain to see Pernell was not the same fighter...still...Oscar barely won. Floyd was way better than that version of Witaker:deal
