I think to many people are using Jermain Taylor as some type of indicator that the Dirrell \Froch will play out the same way...I think Dirrell is going to shock a lot of guys and bring Froch back down off his high horse...Froch is disaster in the making.

From what I've seen from both fighters makes me lean toward Dirrell due to better, overall boxing skills...Lets not forget that Froch was getting his ass handed to him by Taylor before Taylor's stamina failed him...Froch is prone to getting hit to much for my liking..Also Froch has a bad habit of keeping his hands at his waist...Dirrell is going to switch up his stances to offset and confuse Froch.

My only thing about Dirrell is how will he respond to Froch's power...If he can cope with it...there is no doubt that Dirrell look foolish and win a wide UD.

So for the record...my pick is Dirrell UD!:good

Exactly JT's stamina is what has always failed him that and not finishing a hurt opponent.

Thats one thing that always got me about Taylor...He's a damn good fighter but once he got those belts from Hopkins...he seemed to just do enough to get by instead of going all out in his training camp.

I've seen some footage of him training for his upcoming bout with Arthur A.....He seems to be taking him seriously and he touched up on his lost to Froch in the interview...He says (quote on quote) that he's doing more road work to keep his stamina for the FULL 12 rounds. He also went on to say that he didnt do as much road work\cardio as he was suppose to do...With that being said I just hope he comes to fight in the super 6 tourney.

Taylor didn't fight anybody worthwhile before he beat Hopkins and both of his wins over Bernard weren't exactly clear-cut victories. He's a guy who has all the tools but he's stuck between an amateur and a pro style and it shows. He absolutely exhausted the patience of Manny Steward. It has nothing to do with winning the titles. He's just a guy who, when faced with top-level opponents, comes across as awkward and flawed.

It has everything to do with it...Have you ever heard of hunger??? Once Taylor got those titles his worth ethic slowed down drastically...It happen all the time when fighters feel like they accomplish something, they tend to slack in there work ethics...Not all fighters do it but some do...thats the case with Taylor IMO.

How the hell you go from beating a HOF in Hopkins (not once but twice) and years later lose to a fighter like Froch?...So you mean to tell me that he didnt slack in his work ethic at all?

I think Froch's performance against Taylor was underrated; showed awkward but effective movement and a solid jab. I favor him to walk down Dirrell, bust him up in the middle rounds, and stop him late.

Ok so what if Taylor did ease off in training? That's his fault. Being a professional is knowing that you have to be in the best shape possible so you're basically using his lack of professionalism to explain his loss to Froch. Personally, I don't think Taylor is all that good of a fighter. He has the potential to be but he can't seem to put it all together in the context of a fight. There are other things that need to accompany pure boxing ability. The intangibles that are necessary for a fighter to determine how to deal with different circumstances in the ring. Taylor seems to lack these in droves. He had Kelly Pavlik hurt and couldn't finish him, he had the harmless Cory Spinks in front of him and he had to be yelled at by his trainer to let his hands go, and he was ahead of Froch before being stopped late. Taylor finds ways to lose and that is a result of being an extremely flawed fighter. If you wanna call it a lack of hunger do so. I say it's just a guy who isn't as good as many thought he was going to be. I can very well see Abraham beating him because he is a good pro who has been in tough spots before.

Excellent assessment. The whole point is to WIN. Doesn't matter how much talent you have unless you win. If boxing was about talent alone, then Kirkland Laing would be an all time great.

Froch is no Ray Leonard, but is very heavy handed, has an excellent chin, has heart and is very determined, but most of all he has supreme confidence that he will WIN, and so far he hasn't lost as a pro

I'm understand thats Taylor fault...Nobody is trying to dismiss that...thats your opinion on Taylor about him being not that good...He has the talent to be a Great fighter but he sells himself short...Taylor only has himself to blame for all the flack he's getting...I'm sticking to my guns...I'm calling it lack of motivation...so lets agree to disagree because I cant change your opinion on Taylor and you cant make me see it any other way.:good
