    So is he saying that there was no infection? Forget what the doctors told Kelly/Completely cleared?

    Why can't the fight go ahead on the original date then?

    Also no confirmation whether December 5th is actually free with HBO...Golden Boy say they have it reserved for Mosley...

    **** knows, mate- I've only seen the same article that you have:good. By the sounds of it, Pavlik has been 'cleared' for the new date and the new date only. Whether PW wants that date is another thing. Hopefully common sense will prevail.

    As for the date being free, that's why I put 'COULD':good.

    The Examiner.Com is a TERRIBLE source, not reliable at all. They reported the info about Pavlik/Williams for December 5th, and then a few hours LATER posted info on Pavlik/Williams for October 3rd:patsch

    Think about what would happen if Marley and Fernandez had a child, and you'll get pretty close to Examiner.Com!

    This annoys me, the whole boxing world celebrates the announcement of a great fight like this and now it won't happen. I know the knuckle problem couldn't be avoided, but ffs surely they can find an alternative date.

    I don't want to hear an announcement that Pavlik is scheduled to fight Mora next week and Williams is "looking at other options".

    Poor old Shane Mosley if it's true.

    I wish Pavlik would just give an interview and clear all this **** up.
