Pavlik vs Williams is very likely going to happen on December 5th

    A guy post a thread on another site about Pavlik vs Williams could happen but many say that site is bs. Well i can confirm that on boxing scene website just report Williams vs Pavlik will most likely happen on december 5th. Mosley was schedule on that date but hbo change it to December 26. And i read Mosley will likely fight Clottey.

    This is great news :) And this will be my early christmas present when Williams beat Pavlik. :) And i don't know why i have a feeling Clottey will beat Mosley. Reason why? Cause Mosley hasn't fought since janaury in which Mosley is inactive. Clottey however is active when his last fight was on june when he lost in a close fight to Cotto. Also Clottey style is something Mosley has very trouble with before.

    The article on the Scene is far from conclusive.

    Assuming it's true, it's great that the fight's back on; props to Williams and co. for not looking elsewhere. That said, I feel sorry for Sugar Shane for having his date robbed again.

    Why you saying far from conclusive? I think it's true in which it will happen. And i don't feel sorry for Mosley. This is Mosley fault for being inactive. Mosley could have fought Williams in which he could have got way more money then what he got vs Margarito but Mosley didn't have faith in winning so he chicken his way out.

    ******ed? How is it ******ed when Mosley hasn't fought since January 09? And i said that Clottey style will give Mosley trouble cause Mosley has face that same style before (Wright) and we all saw what happen. Yes Wright throws more but i think Clottey will study that fight on tape very closely with his trainer.

    its not even a year yet and for someone of his age & on the decline fighting 1 or 2 times a year is more better than fighting 3-4 times a year.

    It's not a year yet but it will be like 11 month after January. That is real close to a year in which is not very good. But like i said this is Mosley fault for being inactive.

    The article that you refere to is highly speculative, refers to 'rumours' rather than any solid sources, says that this is "one of the solutions being 'thrown around" and even has a question mark at the end of the title.

    I'm not sure how you translated that to 'very likely'...

    Imo it's very likely it will happen. This is the biggest non ppv fight in 2009. Hbo will not let that go away in 2009.

    I think Mosley will win a split decision. Mosley is extremely difficult to outbox lately. Someone like Forrest could outbox him but I don't think even Mayweather Jr can outbox him. In fact I think Mayweather Jr is ducking Mosley on purpose.

    If Mosley beats Clottey, which I expect him to do fairly easily, I expect to see Mosley vs Berto. And Mosley vs Berto has fight of the year potential. Mosley right now is in his prime, he's not looking old so he's aging very slowly, he has a few more years of this before we will see him decline.

    I agree hes not as active as he should be, but neither is Mayweather Jr.
