I'm with you, but was just thinking, most training camps are 8-12 weeks. So if Pacquaio jumps on the ball, he has enough time to get into superb shape.
BigReg is right.... every fight theres talk of this. though its usually not said by Roach himself, that being said hes probably just getting a little unsettled as Cotto has already started training camp and he hasnt even seen pac, thats got to be in your mind as a trainer going into one of your toughest fights.
i hope he DOESNT try to go to war with pac, then hes just giving pac the chances he needs..... he should just go in there buisness as usual and show all these people who think he doesnt have good skills a ****ing boxing lesson, and slowly break pac down until hes there for the taking around the 7th and 8th.... but going in there for war would imo be a mistake.
I'd rather see them both at their best on fight night, with neither fighter underestimating the other.
Manny is distracted because he is a National Icon. He can't control that he has some obligations to his people. However, his entourage looks like a bunch of mooches. Manny should have bought his own training compound where he could get away. Entourages can cut short a fighters career. JC Chavez had a horrible entourage that kept him out of the gym and got him involved in things that if I published people would disturb and shock people. I am still hoping for a third Marquez fight so I want Manny to be at his best against Cotto.
Manny has way too many yes men aeound him.... the Hatton fight may of been the nail in the coffin for him! I hope not though!
Well i can understand Roach here, besides, he was the one trash talking like it was him going to fight. He just wants to be proven right.
