People like to knock hatton around, especially in the general forum.....but his resume gained a little bit the past week....

-Urango gets a KO win over former champ bailey

-Malignaggi gives a good showing, which some thought he won against a solid fighter in Juan Diaz....

I think its testament to hatton being better then some think around here....

I'm sure chubby is smiling in Manchester after the past week....

    dont bother

People blame Mcgirt as to why Malinaggi lost to Hatton and Urango was very green then
and i just read one claim tonight that Hatton got away with a debatable decision to Urango

Although he absolutely doesn't deserve it, Floyd and Pac fans successfully managed to discredited Hatton's accomplishments and made this cool down to earth warrior look like some bum idiot with no skills and overrated/lucky wins. In reality, few fighters had a run as great as Ricky:

    -LWW champ & P4P Top5 Tszyu
    -LWW champ Maussa
    -WW champ Collazo
    -LWW champ Urango
    -P4P top 10 JLC
-P4P king and WW World Champ Mayweather
    -Lazcano for tune-up
-LWW champ and The Ring #1 Malignaggi
    -P4P King Pacquiao

Still, expect assholes saying 'he always was an overrated/protected bum with no skills' and **** like that.

i read that bull**** too.....hatton was a sensational 140 pound fighter, he was just brutally destroyed by pacquiao and mayweather.....

oh and let me add the robbery by berto over collazo.....

hatton's opponents have done well since he beat them.....

all of this signals to me hatton was very good during his reign....

You read someone claimed it. Well, that settles that matter, I guess.
And, if the trainer isn't right, I guess the fighter can't ever really lose fairly. (sarcasm)

The only things impressive about that list is tszyu, mayweather and pac, two of which he was thoroughly outclassed and heavily beaten, and the one he won was a shockingly sloppy fight over a way past his best great.

    The others mean nothing.

Hatton got over-rated, then as a result he gets under-rated. Good fighter, very likeable.. everything that's good about boxing.
