Those are the only fights confirmed.

Marquez/May under card good to average? Quit smoking crack, most PPV under cards have been horrendous for the past 5 years. Also Mares will be fighting on the under card. That makes it 3 solid fights and a good prospect/contender.

You really have to be a huge nut hugger of Cotto or Pac to **** on this card or you just might not be a boxing fan.

by that reasoning, paquaio never deserved to get as far as he did...didnt he move up 2 weights too in one go..from fly to super-bantam..

anyway...this is a non title bout...so i have no issues at all with the 2 weight thing...

fraud vs. Marquez is just about the equivalent of Wladimir vs. Adamek.

They're already negotiating to put Valero-Soto and Montiel-Morel on PAC-Cotto card... Granting it pushes thru, that would be the best card of the year, right?

PAC had problems making weight... JMM has none... Can you see now the big difference??

In the case of PAC-Hoya, it was Hoya chasing the fight not PAC...

Well it will prove that the best are fighting the best. People are talking like Marquez is a ****in journeyman fighter, hes not, hes one of the best fighters in the world. Theres nothing wrong with this fight they just found a way to put the best up against the best.

For me, Floyd-Mosley is more competitive since both boxers belong to the same weight class and more or less with even skills/advantages...

Floyd-JMM ?? ppfffttt.... JMM is smaller, older, slower, weaker and lesser skilled boxer compared to Floyd...

Indeed. As delusional as Void is he'll find it hard to refer to himself as the "cash cow" once this farce bombs.

Also it's not about making weight, it's about how much can you go up in weight and still be effective, very few people can be freaks like
Pacquiao who jumps up in weight and seems to get better.
Marquez hasn't shown that he can be as effective at these higher weights as he was at 130, I think he struggled too much against the aging
Casamayor and the limited Diaz. Marquez can coming at Floyd's weight on fight night for all I car, but he still won't be effective.

If Wladimir used to be a cruiserweight and Adamek was rated in the top three P4P, then almost exactly the same....

It's not a useless fight. JMM will get $3M - the biggest purse in his professional life. Not bad for the #2 PxP. Let's give him the chance to prove his worth. Let's find out if he's still a worthy opponent of Pac in a third fight. Plus, it's also a good opportunity to assess whether Floyd is still competitive against Pac or anyone in the welters.

JMM is one of the best, he's P4P no. 2 but he's so much in disadvantage against Floyd... JMM is the smaller, older, slower, weaker, lesser skilled boxer compared to Floyd...Can you give me one tangible/measureable advantage of JMM over Floyd??
