Im certain that Nathan Cleverly is going to be the next British ATG. The guy is a fantastic text book boxer.
I like him. He sure is exciting. I do see potential. I hope he makes some noise in the near future in the division.
Kell Brook is going to be a big deal.... but Nathan Cleverly will be world champ within the next couple of years.
Dean Byrne and Danny O Connor. Byrne trains in the Wild Card Gym and is managed by Roach. O' Connor has won the 2008 US Future Stars National Championship (also given the outstanding boxer award), 2008 National Golden Gloves Championship, and he was the 2007 US Olympic Trials Bronze Medalist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fP8uNis9ies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UB_rt-sKIQM&feature=fvw
danny Garcia of GBP and Raymond Serrano of Star Boxing. Both from my gym. Keep a close eye. Danny reminds me of a young Cotto.
shawn porter he fought and beat all the the olympic stars he beat shawn estrada danny jacobs and many more i just cant think of he had like 260 amatuer fights he is 9and 0 as a pro 8 kos this kid is no joke wait and see
I consider him a propect because he has the potential to climb up the p4p chain. For fighters like Linares and JuanMa, world titles are just stepping stones. I consider them prospects for the elite level.
Abraham Han will be somebody to look for. He has a deadly right hand. After the Escalante fight there was another fight not on TV and Han knocked down his opponent in the first round and KO'ed him in the 2nd. If it was on TV it would be a KO of the year canidate.
Darren Sutherland looks a good bet. James DeGale is another if they both keep winning a big money match could be made in 18 months or so.
