Was Cloud-Woods One-Sided?

It seems like in the news reports that Tavoris pretty much did all the punching and all Woods did was take the punches.

I watched the 1st 5 rounds and it seemed a bit even. Tavoris was busier but it seemed that Woods defense was blocking a lot of the shots and his jab and occasional right uppercut was making things interesting. Then my pussywhipped ass let my GF watch tennis.

How did it seem to you guys? Was the rest of the fight the same?

I thought Woods was winning atleast 2 rounds in which was round 2 and 3 i think. But after that Cloud took over but even though he did took over, he still was throwing alot of wide punches and man he's easy to get hit. I'm telling you people if Cloud don't improve his defense and if he doesn't relax of trying to look for a knockout early, he's going to get ko. I'm telling you people Cloud will be just like Lacy if he doesn't improved.

In spots Cloud-Woods was one sided, but in the later rounds Woods was outboxing Cloud most of the time when he wasn't getting beaten against the ropes and the occasional big shots. A scorecard for Woods by 115-113 wouldn't have been unfair, but I knew Cloud was winning the fight because he's young, undefeated, and fighting in his home promotion town basically. It was a close fight I thought, it's just that Woods would win more minutes of the fight but Cloud would do more impressive work than Woods would in those minutes.
Basically the later rounds was Woods outboxing Cloud for 2 minutes, and Cloud teeing off on Woods for 1 minute, Cloud could win a round based on teeing off on Woods for a good 30 seconds despite being outboxed for most of the round. Even in the round where Cloud looked like he might drop Woods, Woods was winning that round up to that point.
It was a lot closer than FNF's biased commentary let you think it was.

very good competitive fight with Cloud winning 8 of the 12 rounds in my opinion. Cloud needs a little more head movement but he seems pretty sound technically, beautiful combinations and very good power. Had Woods ready to go I think around rd 9. Would love to see him in his next fight and yes I'm a fan. We have a pretty similar story him from Florida me from New York, very happy for him.

Yeah, it seemed like in the early rounds, Woods was waiting for Cloud to make the mistakes and capitalize on it. I figured Cloud was busier however, so that might sway the judges. Cloud started using his head movement a little more but it seemed like he was open to the uppercut every time.

Rafael: I would tell you to **** off but my GF's calling me. :yep

Damn you're way off! A couple of those rounds could of been scored 10-8 since Woods was getting battered so badly. At the max Woods could of won two rounds total. Whoa I just read your post again and you had Woods winning?! Dang man talk about being delusional....

Not completely one sided in the sense that Woods had some good moments but Cloud clearly won the fight. Had Woods in some serious trouble a few times late.

1st 5 rounds it looked like the fight could go to either fighter, Cloud broke away and basically won every round thereafter.

There were moments where it evened out a bit, but when viewed holistically over the course of twelve rounds it was indeed one-sided.
