When you said MANY, the actual figure could be as high as 99 percent and even *******s were against it and rightfully so. On the hindsight, people appreciate the fight in seeing HOya humiliated grandly. Not taking away Pac's performance but That Hoya was a shell of himself, maybe even half of the shell. Had it been a different outcome - like Hoya winning , I am sue it would be considered a joke. You see, a joke might not be funny to all people. Joke or no joke, this is a fight I will see. I will not pay to watch it though but if there is a will, there is a way.
If he is really weighing 146/147 (I believe him) Then he could make it. He's cut 9lbs to make weight before, and as you go up, if you take care of yourself, you can cut more weight than previous.
Just because it's a mismatch doesn't mean I can't judge how sharp he is and what his movement's like. That's my only interest in the fight.
Floyd is not 22 years old mister. He'd be weak as tea at 140. 32 year old fighters don't move down NINE ****ing pounds and stay effective. 9 pounds doesn't sound like much to a big guy..but that's a lot of ****in weight to those lil bitty mofos.deal:deal You better ask somebody. Floyd is a lil bitty mofo. Nine ****ing pounds would kill his ass.
Yeah but how long has it been since he made 140? No matter how good he's taken care of himself by cutting to 140 would surely mean losing muscle mass. That would be dangerous for him.
So you accept he's a welterweight these days then? You've seemed a little vague on the issue in the past.
Why would it mean losing muscle mass if he's cut 9lbs of water weight to make an even lower weight? :huh He would cut water weight to make 140. Unless he did lie about his weight. (No reason to) And he's in the 150's, then he'd need to lose muscle mass.
That's not my point, my point is that there's no such thing as a fight being a joke especially when two elite fighters are set to meet. The Pac/DLH fight proved it and very recently just like the Hagler/Leonard fight proved it and many other fights.
9lbs of water weight. Both Floyd and Pac stay in tremendous shape year round. Why do you think Pac can cut 15lbs to make weight? Every fighter is different, but when you stay in shape and move up in weight, you can and do have the ability to lose more water weight because guess what! When you add muscle mass, you gain more water weight! Crazy huh? atsch
You still called it a useless and a joke of a fight, I don't see why anyone would bother wasting time watching a fight they call a joke or a mismatch. A joke/mismatch/useless fight usually proves nothing.
You got me mixed up. I was never on board with the "Floyd is not a real WW crowd". Show me otherwise.:hey Floyd has matured into a deceptively strong WW:deal
